If the three amigos are Capoue, Kaboul and Adebayor, if we can sell them I'm quite alright with it. I like Capoue the best out of all those guys, but if they aren't all for the team, then there really is no reason to keep them here.

Makes for an interesting scenario in midfield where you could realistically see us looking to sell Capoue, Paulinho and Dembele. Shifting those three and bringing on Schneiderlin wouldn't be unfeasible if we could actually move all three (which I do believe will be reasonable).

prof (who posted the initial bit on galahads behalf):Okay. The following info came to Galahad on Friday evening (with a couple of extra snippets on Saturday morning), and is from a different source to the person quoted in post #1 of this thread. He initially sent it to me just for my information and didn't want it posted, however the appearance of this thread meant that he is okay with the following being shared. Take it or leave it.

Kaboul believed that the Ade 'faction' had the ascendency, if not in numbers then in influence, due to their seniority. He felt that the refusal to tow the seniority line by the younger players (led by Kane, Dier and Mason) came as a challenge to the established order in general, and to the authority of his captaincy in particular. That's why he made the decision (very much egged on by Ade) to go to Poch and complain, with the aim of presenting the 'Kane Mutiny' (sorry, couldn't resist. :smiley9: ) as being the root cause of the team's problems. Unexpectedly, for the Ade group, Poch supported the mutiny.

Lennon was caught up in supporting players (Ade and Kaboul) with whom he has built friendships over several years. Poch spoke to him on Friday, laying out what he expects from Lennon as a player and as a teammate, and (to his credit) Lennon seems to have responded very well. Poch does not see Lennon as a major issue, more as someone who did what they thought was the right thing (being loyal to a friend) but quickly realized it wasn't. As far as Poch is concerned, Lennon is not a man-management issue.

-prof on jan and eriksen: They both sided with the mutineers. Solidly. Would have been easier to keep their heads down and not take sides, like Lamela, Paulinho and Dembele.

-on rose siding with ade/kabs: I have heard that from one source, but it hasn't been corroborated.

-on lennon choosing the wrong side and seen his error : It does appear that way.
############
edit: i initially totally misread the very last bit about lennon, it was in a confusing q&a bit. its been corrected.

edit again. this time about who rose was siding with.

Make sense re Lennon. I found it wierd how he somehow not only made the team, but even got subbed on yesterday while Ade, Capoue and Kaboul got replaced by youth players.

If Lennon was a problem, he would have been replaced on the bench to. Sounds more like he felt he had to support players he have known for many years, like many others would have done in a similar situation.

edit: but they all really need to just grow up ffs. Grown millionaires behaving like kids!

Oh, boys.

These sound like the events of a particularly preposterous' Dream Team' plot. Be interesting to see what effect this has on the pitch.

If it is true, then Kaboul, Capoue and Ade should not be playing or involved in the next game at Everton. Sad that our captain and vice captain are caught up in this if true.

From a playing perspective
Capoue has not kicked on which is not just down to him. His midfield partner generally has decided not to provide any defensive cover. That said, his play is slow and laborious.
Ade has not even tried this season. We won't miss him.
Kaboul had a good game against Arsenal, but that aside has been atrocious. Again we won't miss him.

Nah its all good this is coming to the surface now. We need everyone at the Club pulling in the same direction in terms of the manager's requirements. If they're not prepared to do so we need to move them on.

Sweeping stuff under the carpet and the problems will remain and we won't be adjusting to Pochettino's way anytime soon.

Adebayor needed to be dropped, started the thread on it three weeks ago. Pochettino is learning fast who's who now.

I of course fully support the players that will bleed for the club. The frustrating thing is of course that from what we have seen over the past few years, Ade has more ability in his little toe than Kane and I would bet that is the headed chance at 1-1 had fallen to Ade he would have buried it. Sadly it feels like his time is up with us...the second manager he has refused to work for...perhaps Harry wants him at QPR? T'riffic player I always thought.

Funny how our shit players all sided together. Good on Poch for supporting our better players this season.

Lloris for captain. Verts and Walker for vice. Kane and Mason captains in training.

I think we have a bunch in this team who really want to build something and others who are their for the ride.

I'm glad Vert and Eriksen sided with Kane.

Bit unfortunate that the 3 kicking off were black. Hope there wasn't anything in it :cautious:

'tow the seniority line' - so basically the younger players weren't doing what Ade and Kaboul were telling them to do so kicked off? It all seems a bit mental to me - or far fetched even, but as they say...no smoke without Adebayor...

I coach a team of 10 year olds and they behave better (most of the time).

The team performances will get better if any negativity is removed from the equation. Whilst its a bit embarrassing IF true, I hope we'll see something good come out of this....a great team spirit from the victorious young mutineers maybe...
