I think that some of us are evaluating our playing staff on the basis of last season's displays. I think that that is a wrong presumption to make. We have to trust in Poch now and leave our past performances out of the equation. We need to see how players perform under the new regime. After all, I still think that our squad is better than last season's showing and firmly believe that Poch will achieve a better season with what we already have.
I could be wrong you know but we need to have the patience.
Agree with you here. As Vertonghan would be first out the door based on last season. It was a complete mess with no order or plan to it. Rose could, just about be a handy left back if Poch worked wonders. But he would still need someone in to compete with and that wont be Benny.I think that some of us are evaluating our playing staff on the basis of last season's displays. No I meant than swanseaI think he meant than us!
It's how I read your comment anyway
Well if the papers are correct, we were at 10 mill and I thought tbat was absurd for him. If another team upped it to 12, then get out of the bidding. 12 is outrageous for Davies.
We were in their position...It's only Spurs fans who think spending money to improve the team is funny. I'd much rather be in their position.

Depends if you put work and effort and attitude above ability, because Verts was an absolute disgrace last year. Rose gave it all but came up short on qualitySo Verts would have been first out of the door but Danny Boy spared? I truly don't believe that for a single minute.
I think if you looked at how much Rose gave when caught up field every match by nonchalantly jogging back then I think the above is baloney. Verts was dire last season but has shown his class previously.Depends if you put work and effort and attitude above ability, because Verts was an absolute disgrace last year. Last summer we were in their position. Replacing one huge star with several players. It may work straight away, or it may not. I'd rather be us in the position we are now with those same players having a year under their belt. It's only Spurs fans who think spending money to improve the team is funny. Not as outrageous as offering Sig for Vorm and Davies. (If true)Well if the papers are correct, we were at 10 mill and I thought tbat was absurd for him. If another team upped it to 12, then get out of the bidding. 12 is outrageous for Davies.

People going mental about the Sig for Davies and Vorm offer. Mainly on other platforms (although some people seem angered on here)
Do you guys realise the article was written by the same guy who said we bid £3million for John O'Shea?
