I went for Benitez.

But if there was a chance for Martinez I would be swayed.

Not going to happen though.

Regarding Tuchel, you just know that we won't hire him (like Rodgers and Martinez in the past) and will regret it when he takes over at Bayern or Dortmund and goes on to achieve great success...

TBH that doesn't guarantee he would've done great things here.

Martinez would be my absolute #1 pick. The guy is just pure class and has his teams playing a very attractive and effective style of football. Dare I say it; the way Spurs fans want to see us play. He's young and ambitious and loyal.

However that last part and the fact we are a nightmare to work for make the appointment nearly impossible. Shame as I would love Levy to move heaven and earth to get him.

However with LVG seemingly off to Utd I would be happy with FDB or Pochettino although I would cautiously optimistic rather than full of optimism...

I'd like Ancellotti more than any of those. From the list I'd have to go with Van Gaal or Frank De Boer probably

I don't care about name or reputation, we need a tactician and someone who really understands the game.

I don't really care if he is master tactician or not, many successful managers are not (Wenger, Cruyff, SAF), their strenghts lie elsewhere. For me it's first and foremost being the right personality for this particular job, without it all the skills in other areas are pretty much in vain. If he doesn't fit into working enviroment and organizational culture in Spurs, he won't be here for long.

Is Thomas Tuchel ready to step up to a bigger club (or to the premiership)? - I'm not sure he is.
No doubting his talent but Spurs' won't take a punt on another relative unknown :(

Benitez for me..............but I do like FDB too

LVG could nt start till after world cup. I want someone who can get to know the players asap and get his tactics into from day one. potticcino for me. Dont think he s outstanding but he plays good football, seems to get the best out of players and knows the premier league. FDB does nt know our league yet and i could nt handle another season of transition

Was he your #1 pick before he got the Everton gig?

Either way, do you realistically think he would leave Everton after one season where they finish above us?!!! More chance of Ancelotti!

This. Whoever it is has to fit. Simple as. A motivator, a tactician, a man manager. Whoever it is simply has to be the right personality. Results follow. End of story.
