So we are going to jettison Holtby and Capoue, for Jake Livermore and Tom Carroll? Does anyone think that makes us more likely to finish in the top 4?

I know people will be apoplectic if thats true, but i would be genuinely delighted if we ever saw a midfield 3 of Livermore, Bentaleb and Carroll.

Would not be surprised to see Holtby, Capoue, Lamela all go on loan tomorrow with Carroll and Livermore returning. Just a hunch, but it would be so Spurs!

I can in no way understand that. Yes, Livermore has been great for Hull, but Hull are not Spurs. He is still slow and often sloppy. The only reason he is standing out is because he is amongst poorer players.

As per Rose at Sunderland.

I can just see our next front 6 line up:

Lennon Bentaleb Livermore T'end
...............Sigurdsson................
...................Defoe...................

Outside thought:
Perhaps we are recalling him in an effort to avoid allowing Hull to purchase him for that fabled £3.5m or whatever it was.

Honestly....why would we call either back?

Both are getting more out of playing regularly than they would as depth players on the current roster.

Livermore specifically makes no sense to call back....he plays CDM, the role that Sherwood supposedly doesn't deem important...and he would be (as it stands at this minute) the 3rd CDM for us behind Sandro and Capoue.

But Timmy knows Livermore, he doesn't know Capoue. So it's OK.:clown:

We need a "vomit" rating.
Misread this as Liverpool for capoue........to be clear it is still a disaster if Livermore comes in and capo goes to Napoli just slightly better than if capo goes to Pool!

Letting go of Capoue and recalling Livermore as his replacement will be one of the stupidest decisions this club will ever make if it does decide to take it up

Wow - Sherwood is really showing how out of his depth he is.

Next up - Chiriches sold and Caulker brought back.

That's got to be a wind-up surely. Not even the thickest person on the planet would sell Capoue over Livermore.

I don't actually mind Livermore as a player - certainly better than some people give him credit for but why fuck up such a productive loan spell for him?

Surely he can't be above Paulinho and Sandro in the pecking order and I dare say, he'll rather spend his time at Hull too so just seems such a arse-backwards move which I really shouldn't be surprised with all this considered.
