Walker, Naughton, Rose, Carroll, Lennon, Daws, JD, Townsend. Throw in a few yoof players if needed. We're OK. I guess the trouble miht arrive for European comps what with the 4 club trained criterion. A couple of first squad players might have to be left at home.

Simon Dawkins? Has he finally gone somewhere else?

delighted Tom's gone, never thought he would leave to be honest. Good luck to him

I'm pleased Big Tom's gone too. Not because of what he brought to the team, but because he was symbolic of a certain period in our history. A bit the same as Howells and Sedgley as our centre midfielders. Again, not casting any aspirations (edit - laugh) or comments of them as players - just the period in time.....

Time on to go to the next level (I hope).

If Tom has gone, I will miss him. Good lad, triffic hair and done very well to lose the weight over the years. Never understood the fat jokes, at least not recently. Remember his passing vs Inter at WHL, some lovely stuff indeed. Doesn't fit into our system and he's still young enough to get himself into the England squad for a few years with a good move.

Where does the actual flair and creativity come from in the midfield now that Huddlestone is gone?

The Huddlestone love-in is in full swing at the moment.

Let's not dress it up, he was part of a midfield that got up top 4 one season, has been a decent squad player but never seemed to have the drive or grit to fight his way back into the team.

He also isn't good enough for a top 4 side - Sounds harsh I know.

All the best but can we take the sentimental farewells to Spurs chat or something.

Until the last 5 matches of last season when he was lucky if he kept it in the field of play. Not to mention his corners, which invariably resulted in a thrown in to the opposition time after time.

I remember refereeing him in Derby County's academy under 12s and under 13s. Always looked a cut above the rest, but he has simply never pushed on and I feel he now simply flatters to deceive.

Time for him to go and I am not sorry to see him leave in all honesty.

That's very harsh to a player who spent the best part of 2 seasons out injured, in fact he is still really coming back from those injuries. Don't get me wrong, it's time for him to move on. He needs to revive his carrier and maybe push for a place in the England squad, he simply won't get the chances at this club. Before getting injured, however, he was a mainstay in our midfield and was even linked with a move to Man utd such was his form, although clumsily. (http://metro.co.uk/2010/10/29/tom-h...er-uniteds-january-transfer-wish-list-566464/) It's funny how things change considering how silly that deal sounds today but when discussed on this forum most people were not so keen on any deal (http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/would-you-sell-huddlestone.66464/). It just goes to show how things change, as well as how short memories fans have.

It was embarrassing watching him ambling around in midfield. He was our own version of Jan Molby.

If anyone knows how to refund my life with the time wasted deleting stuff today please get in touch. I'm off for a cream cake and a cup of tea and to lose a bet that I can touch the massive tits of Mrs A&C's best mate without moving my hands.

Meanwhile, this, from the rules thread........You've all read them so I have to ask.........Why?

POSTING IMAGES/VIDEO CLIPS
Please do NOT post photos or Youtube/Video clips in the ITK Discussion Thread. They add little if anything to the thread and it's really irritating for those accessing the thread on a mobile device, especially when quoted. Player videos can go into the individual player threads.

Just a quick update. Livermore has defo gone Hull. Unfortunately we're still paying most of his wages.

Can't see them being that much. Hope he can prove himself and either come back or secure a move somewhere.

Bit difficult to fight your way back if you were injured for two seasons and last season when he might have had a chance he got no pre season time, AVB wanted to sell him so didn't pick him until he had injuries and then he was dumped into the deep end without any real chance to shake out the rustiness. When he did he did a decent enough job, but lets not make out there was a fully fit player just ambling around the last three years because that clearly wasn't the case

I dont really see a problem with that, gives him the game time he needs and if for any reason we needed to recall him, we can, assuming we havent charged them a fee (unlikely if we have to pay him still)

Jesus h Christ what a pile of shite about one if our own.
I still say you'll go a long way to find another player who can drop a ball on a sixpence as well as Huddlestone from a distance that he can.
If he's gone then all the best to him and thanks.
