I don't see how he can be converted to CB, he needs to play in order to learn his trade, once everybody is fit, he is staying on the bench.

I don't think the idea is him starting every game. Only used as cover due to his versatility. Once Daws, Verts and Kaboul are able to play or we sign Toby/Vlad he won't be starting. We've got enough CMs so why not convert him to CB as cover?

would love the idea of Livermore being a contibutor as a CB, but King could (and maybe should if recalling Hall is an alternative) stroll out there now and be a better player. He has only missed a year and I think that for a game v reglegation certs like Palace, played with the head he would be the best option on the clubs staff!

Fuck all this Livermore and Walker at centre back shit, lets just get a proper one signed before the start of the season or we could end up with a fucking dinosaur egg on our faces yet again.

There is no way we'll go to Palace without a new centre back don't worry lol. We are a shambles atm but not that much of one.

I don't think we can judge Livermore being a CB on the Monaco game vs Falcao with young Fryers (who is a LB) next to him. I'd give him a shot v Palace. Nothing like Falcao on form.

I hope you're not trying to say Falcao is better than Wilbraham or Kevin Phillips.

Actually..... I can see the logic in this. Livermore isn't a million miles off Caulker, and with a bit of room for growth in that position. 9 mill for Caulker.. All starts to make a bit of sense

Livermore is not good enough to get into our side as a centre midfielder in his preferred position, find it hard to understand that he will be better when he is a converted centre back, when he has never played in that position professionally.

I would rather get Hall back from Swindon, if we are desperate for a centre back.

Have to say I've always admired Livermore more for his loyalty and love for Spurs rather than his playing ability. He is a defender first and foremost and shows excellent concentration and focus when defending, just not a lot going forward.

I can see him converting to CB with no probs, and I hope he does. its been mentioned that AVB likes a small squad with versatile players, well Livermore can cover at least 3 positions. Home grown spurs fan, that never moans, whats not to love.

I like Jake I personally think he has a lot of good points, he needs a run of 1st team football, wherever that maybe?
Would like him to go on loan somewhere to get prem expierence
