I disagree. We only need two strikers if we are going to play 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. They just have to both fit those systems. Ade and one more would give us a decent enough strike force for next season.

Well we spent £17m on Paulinho so no reason not to spend the same or more on a striker!

So no Villa, Damaio, Gomez or Krcic. Our options are definitely decreasing. Higuain and Osvaldo are unlikely; Jese isn't good enough yet and Soldado and Benteke are probably out of our (Levy's) price range. Who's left?

Villa has the quality and guile that we've needed. A young player might be exciting and interesting to find out just how good they can be, but Villa would be that cool head on the pitch, capable of taking the ball and playing it or carving out a shooting opportunity and testing/beating the keeper as a guarantee.
Not many better options - even if it would have been for only 2 years.

Yeah because we have unlimited money. I just don't see the striker available Daniel Levy will bid lots of money. And if there are such striker, someone else can offer CL and get him with a few quids more.
