If they get higuin and say rooney or another similar striker then we maybe in trouble if we can only entice a player like villa who at 32 is no longer the player he was and stick with ade and defoe.

We must and need to do better than this if we have any chance of success although I'm surprised that we haven't got anyone yet even though levy does enjoy dragging it on a bit too long.

Liverpool dont seem to be having any trouble bringing people in I wonder what they are doing different to us, I'm not moaning just simply stating it does seem strange to me.

They've signed Kolo Toure and Iago Aspas. Probably not too difficult to bring in as no one is banging down the doors for those guys...

It's not that Liverpool are signg bad/average (as I've read elsewhere) players, they're buying players who have potential. We seem to be going more for the finished article if you believe the players we're linked with. I think we could sign any of their targets and they've complained that we've done that in the past. They're trying to make clever signings but are taking a bigger risk in doing so.

he also said to me few months ago, we have a good chance for villa, followed by 50-50 spurs or goons and now today as above.....

hope hes wrong but hes a good friend (and fellow spurs fan) and doesn't and hasn't bullshted me in the past, sent me a copy of the betting slips n all....
