Probably need a right footed one since both Holtby and Dembele keep drifting left hitting walls bec there is no natural left wing and BAE can't dribble or cross for nuts. We need to liberate Lennon and Walker on the right.

This happens when Bale plays in the middle... We just need a decent pass and for Lenon to run and Walker to overlap to give that cutting edge.

IMO, if. We can't get him, Holtby needs to work on his right foot to balance the attack.

Interesting, had no idea Guarin was at Porto, thought we were just in for him since Inter finished 9th.

With Bale and Bernard cutting inside. That looks pretty damn good to me.

Currently on £90k per week, he was looking £130k to sign a new deal at United...bit steep IMO, especially for such a frustrating player. Sublime to the ridiculous very very quickly for that guy. A mate of mine actually has a United top with "F'SAKE NANI 17" on the back of it.

The front three looks nice but for me Dembele isn't equipped to play the playmaker role. The missing link in our midfield is someone with the vision, movement and intelligence to split defences. If they can score goals then even better.

IMO if you want to have a midfield three of Dembele - Sandro - Guarin then you're going to need a lot of goals and creativity to come from the front three. Bernard would offer creativity on the left side, Bale would obviously offer goals and the odd assist from the right. Still not that much creativity though so you'd want your striker to have a bit of Vision. The only attainable guy I can think of, who we've also been linked to, is Mirko Vucinic.

Bernard - Vucinic - Bale
Dembele - Sandro - Guarin

I'd be over the moon with something like that.

Can't believe we're arguing over Nani! So what if he has off days... What player doesn't. On his day he's more than good enough for us and any other top team. Maybe working with a Portuguese manager would bring the best out of him. £7-8 million would be a brilliant deal as long as his wages are affordable.

I think the creative player we require to split defences could be lewis holtby operating in a 4-3-3 alongside dembele and sandro, however we clearly lack quality in depth. Not seen enough of guarin to pass judgement
