Ohhh, ouch. To me football is pretty simple. You give players the confidence to go out there and show what they can do within a basic structure. Give them an element of freedom in their play so that there not over thinking things like they would if they've been given a 20 page document on the opposition, or where they should run if the balls in a certain area of the pitch. Players have played the game for a long time, they should have a feel for it. give me a manager who the players like and respect over one who showers them in stats and bores them because you'll get alot more out of them.

So anyway, the camp is firmly split in 2 as to whether this was a brilliant window or a masterpiece. Why do I get the impression that had we signed Moutinho, that would still be case. "Why no Meandro or Messi?!" Me personally, I'm devastated VDV has gone. The only black mark on the summer for me. :cry:

A&C Could you explain the post regarding JJ to me? Without obviously elaborating on the information you didn't want to post.
Worried we're going to lose one of our best ITK's.

I'm afraid I can't add anything, I just posted what he tweeted. I have no idea what JJ is going to do. He says he might quit Twitter, if he does, then I would hope we'll be having a conversation at some point about him returning to SC to post his stuff and settling on a mutually agreeable formula.

Personally him quitting twitter wouldn't effect the quality of his posts IMO. Unlike some other ITK's he never posted his 'opinion' or jumped the gun due to the demand placed on him via twitter... He always stuck to his guns and posted sporadic neccesary updates.
But you're right hopefully he makes the jump back to here; would be great to have a truly reliable source!

I realize you're being sarcastic, but I'm curious as to how you're so sure levy did not really try to sign moutinho. I know jjetset said otherwise, but he's at least earned his stripes as itk. Are you posting as itk, or is it just cynicism on your part?
