anyone think muller could be on list to replace modric? different type of player but he would be very useful.

He is on my six year old cousin's list. But he also has Batman and Buzz Lightyear on the list. We are about as likely to sign them as Muller.

be careful what you wish for. said he is unhappy at munich and cant get a game , just throwing it out there anyway

Germans just don't seem to leave Munich. Would love to get some Germans in our team!

I don't belive he's out of our range.

He certainly wouldn't replace Modric though.

I'm assuming next season Naughton and Smith will be the full-back understudy's - I don't think Rose is good enough and he'll have done himself no good with his silly Twitter twattling.

Smith and Naughton have to be looking to play 15+ games next season, Naughton probably more.

Those two, Townsend, Caulker and Kane all need to be given space in the first team next season, no more loans for them unless we sign someone to block their way who we can't drop.

Judging by his brief performance against Fulham, I don't think that Smith is ready for the first team squad. I'd expect him to go out on loan. Naughton can cover both flanks with Livermore and Kaboul options at RB and Gallas and Vertonghen at LB.

With regards Kane, wasn't there some news that he was going to Southampton on loan next season?

obviously muller is nothing like modric and would never be a replacement, he's also on the level above us ability wise.
BUT he isnt entirely happy at Bayern at present and is limited to the bench in most games, he knows he's good enough to start at any other team save madrid/barca/city etc

very unlikely, but it is possible

He's limited to the bench for a reason. He hasn't been very good at all this last season.

In the same way we don't want to sell Modric to another team in epl, maybe same with Bayern and muller. I know unrealistic, but with Madrid having Ronaldo and Barca having alexia Sanchez, where would he go? I would say difficult to attract but possible. I would even say the same for pedro at barca (cue cusses of madman) however epl is a big draw snd unhappy players can be tempted by interesting challenges, shit even robinho
