WTF, Pogrebnyak has signed for READING???

We have one striker on the books and we don't show any interest in him at all?!

I know, not only that but Mido has signed for Barnsley so we have missed out again!! Damn you levy! Daaaammmmmmnnnnnnnn yooooouuuuuuuu!!!

Ended the season with 3 Croatians on our books, looks like by time pre season training starts we will have none

In terms of Pog if he was any good clubs higher up than Reading would be after him, no thanks

First Kranjcar and now Corluka. So we're basically pulling out all the stops to keep Modric happy then.

At least we're shifting players now though so hopefully that leaves room in squad to start bringing players in.

A good point re shifting perceived 'deadwood' albeit the main protagonist's in Messrs Bentley, Gio and Jenas are still very much clinging on to the faint hope of our next manager taking a shine to them.

I swear if there was a nuclear bomb, there would only be cockroaches and fucking David Bentley remaining!

It's easy to get rid of players who are actually any good. I can see us having to pay someone to take Bentley off our hands. Possibly Haringey Council.

 One of the few councils likely to be um, er, disorganised enough to do the deal.

Yeah I think Bentley is gonna be tough to move on as will be Jenas. Although I actually think Jenas could do really well somewhere like Villa or Sunderland.

With Pletikosa (at one point) it was 4.

However, Tomislav Gomelt is on the books, and Croatians have and will always be linked with Spurs (Vrsaljko, Kovacic, Badelj, Mandzukic, Perisic, Lovren, etc.).

Younger players like Husinec, Kelic and Klapan have previously/recently been on trial.

As long as your scouting team is still in place, don't doubt another signing/or more within the next couple of seasons.

They could convert his massive backside into a school maybe? They'd need to remove the lead first - or at least claim to have done so.

If we don't get rid of those two this summer I fear we never will. I want them out not on loan but permentley.

I hate to break this to you, but that is a myth, based on an old US advertisement. Cockroaches, while they can handle more radiation than humans, would actually be one of the first insects to go. Wasps are where it's at.

But you might be right on Bentley. :)

So has there been some concrete news on Corluka or is this based on some ITK yet to be added to the RO?

A Eastern European newspaper called the Kranky move to Kiev before it was made official too - so I'm guessing this could be right, and that it's done.

If I'm not mistaken that'll be £7m for Kranky and £5m for Corluka? £12m into the pot already. Add that to the £10m (?) we got for Pav and we should be looking at a sizeable "War Chest"
