Wouldn't you be, if you found out Spurs fans, insiders, or whoever were spreading rumours about rifts, resigning, being sacked if they're untrue?

Completely agree that he is not suggesting he has quit for reasons well documented and if he was staying he would come out and say so along with a hope that a new deal will be sorted.
Could be hours, days or weeks but I'd stake my mortgage on him not managing us come the start of the season.

I'm assuming certain members of the board needed convincing that a new deal for Harry wasn't the way forward but annoying seeing as our ideal successor is now at the helm of the Scousers!

Well said. His compensation is probably being worked out, and the new manager's contract terms are probably being discussed.... further. At the very least this scenario seems exceedingly plausible.

If people are still believing he has been sacked today, then why, if he has been interviewed, stating he isnt resigning, holding back and not revealed he had been sacked if that was the case? He would have no ties, or loyalty by not saying anything, and if he had been, he would make sure that every man and his dog knew what that he was sacked.
Of course there were 4, but we got two on free transfers...
