You wouldn't compare two entire cities to one small part of one city though. It's like saying "Cardiff and Swansea are shit holes, but cardiff and swansea fans must also think think that moss side is a shit hole". Moss side is a shit part of Manchester, but Manchester doesn't stop there. Swansea is a shit hole everywhere.

Not strictly true as in the CL you would be in a country that is closer to home whereas with Europa you have a flight from Eastern Europe. Depending how far you are you could lose a day because you get back late after leaving straight away and arriving early in the morning or because you arrive half way through the next day, so those didnt play, miss a day of training

But that's not going to be the case with Benfica. They're even in the same time zone - so no bodily confusion.
