From Bayern Forum:

"Tottenhem has all the resources in the world needed to have a great team. I know they dont spend big money often but neither did Borussia back then. So instead of worshiping Daniel Levy, Spurs fans should maybe start to ask for Levy’s responsibility in all of this."

😂

Why didn’t we think of that?

I'd say Levy's responsibility in this situation is to ensure we get every fucking last penny out of Bayern if they want to sign Kane if he is going and I'd say he is doing a damned fine job so far. I think the Bayern fans are under the impression we will all be angry if Kane doesn't leave but they don't realise that most of us will be delighted if he stays, even if it is only for one last year.

More from Bayern Forum:

"Offer rejected. RIP to our season"

"And worst of all we brought this upon ourselves because it was clear from day 1 that Levy was not open to negotiation, and yet we kept testing him with bids that fell way below what he's asking for."

"if we do not get a quality 9 the whole board has to resign" [plus some other people disagreeing and saying no, Tuchel will resign and they will have to go crawling back to Nagelsmann]

"Fu k you Levy and fuck your money you ficking miser" 😅

I feel for them a bit actually, it’s kind of like a rich privileged kid not getting their way as they always have before and finding out for the first time what the real word is like.

some very childlike wonder behind these posts

Bayern much like City a couple of years ago have been very daft, so use to just buying anybody and others not refusing and then forgot they were dealing with Levy. However much some people dislike Levy he knows how to play hardball.

Proof that most 'ITK' is nothing of the sort and you should just wait to see what actually happens. Don’t believe everything you read on social media.

Had a look on one of their forums and in fairness they mostly seem to have balanced views on the game and showing us some respect.

Not usually the vibe we get from opposition fans in this thread :cautious:

  • The entire crowd, including families with small children, all chanting “Maddison, you’re a ****, Maddison, Maddison, you’re a ****”. That‘s the TRUE meaning of #BeeTogether, Mr Varney
  • Not forgetting the very loud chants of:
    🎶 Harry Kane…he left cos you’re sh*t 🎶
  • Maddison getting booked 🤣🤪🤣
  • Reading that your less than four year old son learnt the words to the Maddison song, and was singing them in the car, has genuinely restored my belief in Brentford’s future as a family club.
  • Maddison finally getting booked, to a chorus of 'w***er' minute later Rico bursts away, crosses, and we score
  • Romero was subbed off but Spurs didn't fill out the form correctly. They failed to tick that it was a concussion sub :ROFLMAO:

  • we do usually go 532 against the top 6 …
Spurs aren't top 6 and we played 4-3-3 at WHL last season.
  • Maddison and Richarlison playing for the same team, christ. Might be time to warn the neighbours about some foul language over the next couple of hours
  • Dislike Maddison...
he and Richarlison - bad eggs
  • Spurs Poundland keeper looking ropey
  • Very hard to defend that. Brilliant delivery from Maddison
  • Yeh it's onside, crap start from us. Spurs look like a totally different team.
  • Spurs look sharp, really good in possession
  • Bless Spuds little poundland keeper. Think what they could have had if they werent owned by a poor mans Fagin
  • Even better is it has shut up that tw*t O'Hara on SSN
  • Their tactical fouling is taking the p.
  • They've been practising their fouling.
Clearly how you win the Scottish league
  • Good goal
  • Out of absolutely nothing
  • This is going to finish about 5-3 at this rate. Seems to be mirroring the friendlies - very dangerous going forward, but lax at the back.
  • Second goal all set up by Maddison going to ground like a sack of sh*t, and getting a lucky roll to Royal
  • Stop booing that **** you know whats gonna happen
  • Errors on both sides. Quite even overall
  • Well that was a great half of football. They have had a couple of sustained periods of possession but we have had the best chances and probably shaded the half I think. We've played around their high press well at times but they have relentlessly cheated with cynical fouls. Rico and Bryan v dangerous on the break. This could be decided on which team lasts longest physically and whether they somehow keep 11 on the pitch.
Oh and Maddison is a tw*t.
  • I'll be honest with you all, I'd take a draw right now!
  • Same
  • Good point. Low block was very solid in 2nd half
  • solid start to the season
  • I'd have taken a point before hand so reasonably happy I guess. Just a bit annoying as we had chances to win, but I expect Spurs will feel much the same
  • Spurs the much better side 2nd half
  • That is a very good point against a Spurs side who look a level up from last season.
  • People mock Spurs, and rightfully so, but they have some very good players
  • Spuds look like a completely different team to last season’s shambles
  • Maddison has clearly taken over the Kane mantle of " Spurs England player allowed to do exactly as he pleases without recourse"
  • Decent start to the season against the twelve men of Tottenham
  • fair point overall but we sat too deep and allowed the excellent Bissouma to run the show, along with Maddison who remains a pain in the arse
  • Thought Maddison (who was living a fine line from being sent off) and Bissouma dominated our midfield throughout the game.
  • Two assists for Maddison today.
Is there a reason we hate him apart from the fact he’s very good against us?
I enjoyed him briefly moving the ball off the corner spot one time on purpose before taking one just to wind up the crowd. He obviously thrives off it.
  • Is it because he's an obnoxious **** do you think?
  • have we ever won when he's played against us?
  • For me its a 25 yarder he curled in for Norwich followed up with a knee slide celebration directly at Ealing road. Oh and add the fact that he's an odious little **** who loves a dive and is always in the refs ear. Shame cos he can play a bit
  • Great player but a total tw*t
  • He’s excellent at football but will be forgotten about quickly when his career ends because he’s just a bit of a tw*t really
  • Unfortunately an excellent player who revels in being the pantomime villain

That's great to read after that shyte Frank said in his interview. I really thought I had missed parts of the game intermittently, as i was a fair few beers deep while watching.
