I have disagree on the number, I reckon I would have 11 arsenal players in our squad,

Ramsdale, tomiyasu, white, gabriel, (tierney would start), partey (would start), Saka (would start), martinelli, odegaard, lacazette and ESR. They would all elevate our squad.

Looking at this objectively, I’d take 5 in our squad, but none would start, well maybe Tierney.

Tomiyasu > Tanganga
Partey > Winks
Saka > Moura (would not start though as not as good as Son or Kulusevski)
Tierney > Reguilon

I'd add Ødegaard and Smith-Rowe to that list. Both good players with bright futures ahead of them, and they'd be starters in a 352. We could do worse than Lacazette as backup up front as well, although I'm no big fan of him.

Deluded? Saka has 172 minutes per goal contribution this season. Kulusevski 109. And that's as a young player in a new league. Saka is great, but he's not better than Kulusevski, and there is no way he would start consistently over Kulusevski if they were in the same team.

Stats don't tell it all, of course, but Kulusevski fits our team and the way we play to perfection.

Its that last line that I think people overlook - its the role Deki plays more than the position.

Saka would be a back up to Son on our team, and would not start in front of Deki - the same way Stevie does not start when Deki is out.

Kulusevski has had a pretty amazing start to his career with us and has slotted straight in. He's a different type of player to Saka though, so it's not really a fair comparison imo.
I like Saka but he's a lot more raw than Deki, relying more on his pace.

The amount of spurs fans laughing or disagreeing with this shows our delusion! Our best youth player is Skipp they have so many at a high level.

They do, but how many will amount to anything? We have talented young players but don't need to play them. Arsenal have to. But I would bet that none of them will go on to have elite careers.

I was listening to TS this am because I wanted to revel in their misery. The female presenter I believe is Arsenal. She was spinning it that Arsenal have over performed and should be delighted with 5th whereas Spurs with Kane and Son, Conte and a new stadium should be getting Top 4 as a minimum.
Then talked about the money WE have spent on signings. I kid you not.
No mention that we have a stadium to pay for or that we sacked a manger or that they spent more than city in the transfer window. Unfortunately she wasnt challenged because her cop resented was Ally McCoist and he only wanted to talk about Rangers.
