He has a severe mentality problem in the big games.

His performance for England in the Euros particularly against Iceland was not just bad it was like a pub player was playing.

Other players have been poor for England but I have never seen a performance as bad as that one.

You could see the fear in his eyes when he was taking the set pieces in that game.

He is a complete bottler of the highest order and always fails to deliver in the big games for club and especially country.

His technique is also relatively poor and this compounded with his weak mentality means he is not and will never be a top player no matter how many goals he scores against Fulham and Stoke.

He is at the right club in Spurs as he is the epitome of that club.

20+ goals in 3 straight full seasons getting consistent minutes. 100 club goals in 218 appearances counting all his loans. 86 Spurs goals. 66 PL goals.

Yep. He sucks. Get rid.

That thread absolutely reeks of jealousy. Yet they have Zlatan. Really baffling.

So what are they saying on the Oatcake, that rather charmingly titled Stoke forum.

Well, in the thread called 'What can we learn from today', we have this pearl of wisdom...

"To go up against the youngest, fittest and quickest team in the league again with something akin to the cast of Cocoon is just pure madness."

But sometimes a picture says it best...

Suarez was labelled a flat-track bully at Liverpool. Regardless, flat-track bullies are very valuable commodities.
It's a stupid label to begin with.

All strikers have a tougher time scoring against the better opposition with better defenses and better offenses to keep your players honest. It's not rocket science. There will be less chances created and therefore less goals scored from either teams strikers. It doesn't make them flat-track bullies it's just a result of the game. Not to mention Kane has scored against just about everyone which sort of extends the stupidity behind calling him a flat-track bully.

It's a dumb label on equal par with "bottler" that everyone now sticks on the team that loses any given game.

West Ham fans discussing Kane on KUMB

I remember people saying Messi couldn't do it against English sides same with Ibra, the point being that it was b*llocks

Kane is 23 he's a serious talent and will do it against the big sides as spuds improve, some of you lot on here need to see reality

**** I hate the fact that spuds have built over the years including picking up our best players on the cheap, sorted their talent succession out, and are building a purpose built stadium on their home

I worry about us and our future whilst I watch those ****ers improve every year by doing things properly

Really ****ing good player. The sooner he leaves Tottenham the better. Wouldn't be surprised if Man Utd smash the Pogba record for him

What's all the more impressive with his league record this year is that he missed 7 games through injury ...

Sanchez 17 goals - 2,146 minutes
Lukaku 17 goals - 2,146
Kane 17 goals - 1,805
Costa 16 goals - 2,127
Ibra 11 goals - 2,160

He's played over 300 minutes less than all the 'star' strikers he's competing with ...

Spurs got lucky with this lad, and with Dele, and with Rose, and with Walker, and with Winks ... hmmm maybe there's more to this than just blind luck ... a multi-million 'world best' training centre at Enfield sure helps ... let's hope Rush Green doesn't prove a 'cheap-skate' solution and that it develops players in the same way .... my worry is we've spent all our efforts on PR and our Brand and somehow ended up with second division support facilities

I think he and his goals are the key difference between our sides, that and goalie and we would be top four.
I would add another point of difference. General athleticism.

For all the great ability of our players, Lanzini, Payet, Noble (when he's on form), Cresswell etc, they are little more than average physically. Tottingham are front to back pace and power along with the technicality. Dembele and Wanyama are immense physical specimens as well as being high quality technical and tactical players. Rose and Walker are ferocious athletes. Dele Alli and Kane, both big strong guys as well.

Gives them the scope to mix it up when the football isn't working.

I think he and his goals are the key difference between our sides, that and goalie and we would be top four.
No chance

Their squad absolutely pisses all over us, pretty much man to man they are a better squad, let alone team

One Season Wonder Kane:

First 100 league games for club:
Messi - 44 goals
Neymar (Barca) - 59 goals
Raul - 44 goals
Kane - 62 goals (99 games)

Let that sink in
