We have talked a great deal about whether we should keep Harry as our manager and also about our summer targets. I am wondering what people believe our chairman is thinking is the best thing to do for Spurs?
He's was probably expecting Harry to go with a nice little pay off from the FA.
I'm sure he had someone in mind so it's possible Harry may go this summer.
I suspect he's thinking that if we qualify for the Champions League there are a few players that would join (and maybe a few that would stay) based entirely on the appeal of working with Harry.
If we don't qualify for the Champions League I imagine Levy would re-assess his options based on who is available.
He's probably also thinking that with some thicker glasses he could do a passable imitation of Eddie Hitler.
"Bugger".
one way or another, i am hoping he is thinking of "parting" ways with Harry. particularly if harry does not have us in the CL next season. is this not the reason that Jol was fired. we needed a manager who could get us Cl football. i was looking forward to David Moyes coming to Spurs. if we do get Cl football i would still like Harry to go. there is no forgiving the slump we have suffered. the idiot cannot use his full squad and deserves to lose his job for just that.
Martin Jol was fired because he bottled it once, then had a terrible start to the next season, but recovered to finish 5th, then had another terrible start to the next season.
Comparing the situations Jol and Redknapp faced is like comparing cock with bollocks.[/quote
