Both us and the goonscum dont have much of a bench, so it could come down to a key injury at a crucial moment given that there are certain players both clubs would find impossible to replace.

Too close to call……..assumes the foetal position

This is the real business end now. The game against Newcastle is huge. If we win we’re level and they go away to palace with the pressure fully on.

we’re about to see what we’re made of.

I think if we don't get any injuries to key players we'll do it.

If Kane, Son, Lloris, Dier, Bentacour are injured it has an such an impact on our system that we're unlikely to be as effective as we have for the last 5 matches.

I really think if we play the same 11 for the remaining matches - bar maybe Royal, Sessegnon and Skipp coming in at points - we can finish the season unbeaten.

Well after todays result you look at Chelsea’s remaining fixtures and wonder where they’ll get any more points from ?

Lol. I mean they could drop points against Southampton, Arsenal and West Ham in their next three matches. Southampton are playing them between their two games against Real Madrid.

We go 4th today, Arsenal have 2 games in hand on us...

But the real story is Spurs vs Chelsea vs Arsenal...

Chelsea have played 1 more game than Spurs but both team have same number of wins - Chelsea are 5 points away from us with better goal difference. But this Russian issue has seems to have kind of derailed them - I can actually see them losing their way and atleast drop points in some of their games.

Chelsea play Arsenal in 2 weeks time - thats as much a big game than NLD. Even if we dont end up beating Chelsea end of season, both Arsenal & Spurs run should worry Chelsea & pressure should be on- That Chelsea vs Arsenal game could be a great boon for us - as long as we keep scoring 3 pts

I can see Chelsea dropping more points because of CL and a belief that they are comfortably in the top 4. Not sure the club sale is bothering them.

Ultimately I don't think they'll drop enough to worry about us or Arse. However, Chelsea Vs Arse has now become a 6-pointer and so we can only benefit. At this point a Chelsea win would be the best result. But.....if Chelsea were to drop points against Southampton then a draw becomes very useful and even an Arse victory suddenly has an upside

I think we desperately need Palace to get soemthign out of tomorrow - preferably a win but even a draw would help put seeds of doubt into the Arsenal mindset. We wont win all our games, so we need Arsenal to drop points from tomorrow...

If they don't, then next weekend could see us off as we have Villa away and they have Brighton at home...

Agree - especially I cant see us getting a result at Anfield when title is on line. So, we need buffer. We need Arsenal to drop minimum 6 to 9 pts from here.

As high as mathmatically possible. One game at a time and all that.

I do feel we have 5th spot with an opportunity to grab 4th if it presents itself. Beating Arsenal is a must do and going unbeaten to the end of the season if possible which is a big ask.

Our form is good and only now putting some pressure on Arsenal which may tell on them. We might buckle under pressure yet. A long way to go, many points to play for. Arsenal may need to get injuries to help us out.

Just a thought, as an Arsenal player/supporter playing/watching Arsenal winning every week suddenly 4th spot is, for real, in question must feel a little depressing. Theres not much else they can do, they are running on full whereas we can only get better.

Arse only have to win game in hand (palace) and then only 2 points behind Chelsea, sat massive for them then as home to Brighton Chelsea away and then play each other. Chelsea could be brought right back in it. Let’s hope Chelsea stay in Europe to the semis

Cheers for all of that.

Thankfully, memory loss means I'll have forget almost all of it by the time I've sent this post.

Everyone should give our a try. Not the frontal lobe damage thing, but avoiding looking at the league, opponents results etc.

Just focusing on us, the build up to our games, the results & performances that follow.

At the end of the day, who gives a fuck where other teams are, or how they're performing? When the season comes to an end, we'll end up where we deserve to end up.

Let's play!

Arsenal still big favourites- they're in great form and I fancy them to get something from the Chelsea game. We've just got to put ourselves in a position to take advantage of they slip up, and of course win the NLD.

Any team in their position would have one and a half eyes on the fa cup semi final. It's a huge game for them and they must think they have a decent chance with Chelsea 's CL schedule. It's annoying timing for us.

This can work the other way though - if you want to play in the semi then having a blinder in the game immediately before will really boost your chances

I can see us beating Liverscum and I really want us to be the ones that finish off their title chances. The way we play - I think we will get past their high line a fair bit, like we did at ours.

Im more concerned about Villa this weekend
