I was OK with VAR until I saw it in action.
I think it could still be useful in certain very specific and restricted situations, but if they persist with anything like what we saw today, if they undermine the referee's authority like this, and if they insist that every goal is automatically reviewed, then they will rip the soul out of the game.
How can the authorities be allowed to affect our game like this, without any proper consultation with the people who make the game: managers, players and above all, the fans? The whole thing stinks.
