We are the only nation that degrades the uefa cup, it looks amazing there tonight & if atletico were to win theyd most likely lift the uefa cup & finish top 4 so it can be done!!!

English teams need to respect the competition more, id give anything to be there with spurs tonight...looks amazing

Agree. Although i'd argue that UEFA themselves degraded the tournament when they turned it into a cheap less important version of the champions league. If they reintroduced it as a pure cup competition it would be much better imo.

Has Llorente ever wanted to leave Bilbao, regardless of who wanted him and how much they were willing to pay?

Was Falcao really attainable for us when he left Porto for €40m? He joined them from River Plate in 2009, you can always argue that we could have gone for him them but it's not like he was that shit hot a prospect at the time.

Produces some good games near the end of the competition but it has been so devalued by the amount of games played and the whole 3rd place in the CL group debacle I prefer us just to use this competition to blood in some youngsters.​

We wouldn't be where we are now in the league if we played our first 11 for the Europa League as well, in my opinion, and I'd rather be in our league position now than to maybe be a few league places lower but in the Europa League final.
