We're a proper team and I love it!

When have you ever seen a Spurs team organised enough to press like that?!

Scott Parker came across very well when talking about Spurs would like to see him get a job in our setup when he is done playing.

Usually it is Shelvey, but tonight Sinclair reminded me of a Ferengi. That's a Ferengi discussing the well-known West Ham school of football known as Long Ball. It's another universe.

It's actually a very good shout. He was known as an incredible motivator - I remember Carlton Cole saying at full time that a half time inspirational speech from Parker had spurred them into a 3-3 draw after being 3 down at half time and other similar anecdotes about the man. A true pro and would be good to have around our young side - used to put a helluva shift in for us during our CL season...very much like Dier in ways.

Almost certainly with a copious amount of wrist slitting, doom mongering, knee jerk overreaction and angst.

Oh……..You meant the players :p
They won't blame it on the sunshine, the moonlight, or indeed the good times. My guess is that they'll blame it on Lamela. That's some fans, who thinks it's bantz; they just can't control their tweets.

We are the only side to not get a hammering/thumping defeat (touchwood).
City, United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Everton , Southampton, Palace all have lost a game of two by conceding 3 goals. Arsenal have had couple of shockers too.

PL table suggest that we are a free scoring side, already with 24 goals & also with good defense (11 conceded)

The way we won made sure we gave a reality check to deluded scousers. After their Saturday win, many were already claiming they will roll over the league. Its a reality check to everyone - West Ham bubble has well & truly burst and we are the most consistent side in league.

Anyone watching MOTD? Sinclair and schmeichel basically proposing long ball to counteract the press. Genius.

Indeed strangely clueless from pros/ex pros.

the point partially is that when you squeeze opponents in their own half and press them then they are forced to play a long ball to avoid turning over possession which often leads to them giving up possession anyway because they've just hoofed it up hoping for something to come off.

I should imagine the best tactic is to have players who are composed and comfortable enough to not panic on the ball and be able to pick out passes, retaining possession and tiring out the pressing side until gaps start appearing.

But such technique and calmness isn't as abundant in the prem as it is in la liga

In all due respect thats what Arsenal resorted to.

Hope Guardiola is taking notes, we might play his lot next season.
Leicester's goal came that way too
