TEAM FORM:--WEST HAM - LWDLW-----SPURS - LWLLW
------(All Competitions)

We will be looking to close the gap on West Ham United and our other top-four rivals when we head to the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon. We have lost four of our last five Premier League matches - as many as in our previous 28 - and enter this game six points behind West Ham with a game in hand to play.

The Europa League can often prove a distraction for teams in our position, but Jose will hope that Thursday's win over Wolfsberger can kickstart our side's season. We saw off Austrian side Wolfsberger 4-1 in Budapest thanks to goals from Son, Bale, Lucas and Vinicius. Jose fielded a mixed XI at the Puskas Arena and our side are now as good as through to the last 16 of the Europa League, with an EFL Cup final also fast approaching. In the Premier League at the time of writing, we are down in ninth place and are six points adrift of the top four, albeit with a game in hand still to play on most of the sides above us. Defeat to Manchester City last time out was our seventh of the season in the Premier League - only in 2015-16 with Chelsea (nine) has Mourinho lost more in a single campaign.

While we have struggled for consistency this term, West Ham are enjoying their best top-flight campaign at this stage of a season since 1985-86. The Hammers beat bottom side Sheffield United 3-0 in midweek to make it 42 points from 24 matches, which is already three more points that they accrued in the whole of 2019-20.
However, West Ham have lost each of their last three home league games against us - their longest losing run at home against us in their league history. Moyes also has a poor record against Mourinho, having faced him on more occasions in all competitions without winning (15) than he has against any other manager. That is something Moyes will be looking to put right this weekend to strengthen United's top-four hopes and all but end ours in the process

Antonio has missed West Ham's last two matches and remains a fitness doubt for Sunday's clash, but Moyes will give his only senior striker every chance of being available. Masuaka, Yarmolenko and Ogbonna will definitely play no part for West Ham, while Randolph and Balbuena and are to be assessed. With a big question mark over Antonio's availability, Moyes may well stick with the same side that eased past Sheffield United, which would mean Bowen leading the attack.

As for us, Aurier has been ruled out and fellow full-back Reguilon is also a major fitness doubt, having now missed more than a month. Lo Celso is our only other confirmed injury or suspension absentee, with Mourinho having plenty of other options to choose from in that position. After being rested against Wolfsberger on Thursday, the likes of Kane, Ndombele, and Hojbjerg are expected to return to the starting lineup here. Kane has scored 11 goals in 15 Premier League games against West Ham - only against Leicester City (14) has he scored more.

Our form is improving and players are returning. I wonder if our new Jan signing will get minutes, that Alli fellow.

More confident of beating them when we're doing shit and pissing on their parade than if we were flying and them trying to piss on our parade.

Weirdly given the contrasting forms of the two clubs over the past 8 weeks or so I’m confident we will win tomorrow. Maybe it’s just because it’s West Ham and even though they are having a good season and an exceptional spell of form at the moment I still really don’t rate them very highly. Fair play to them they really have taken advantage of the mediocre form of the usual 10 clubs who usually finish above them in the league. They still are a club we really should be beating though.

When we played them at home we should have won 4/5 nil, but instead it was again us who made them look good.
We can't keep losing and so I hope a turnaround in our fortunes start's tomorrow.

We won't lose against these shit bags

We better not!

Jose did their team talk for them after our game Thursday when he said we’d finish above them at the end of the season. While likely, when I heard him say it, I thought it wasn’t the smartest move.

Anyway, anything less than three points and it will be a bad result.

Everything went downhill after the first game with this lot, don't let them finish us the second time around.
