We dont play that way under Jose though. We were 1 down after 5 mins and after 40mins still hadn't had a shot on target.
Bale starting wont change that.
Its not working under Jose in any aspect.
As someone said earlier this is one of our best attacking squads ever and yet we're going 40mins in a London derby behind and not javing a shot on target! Something is very wrong with that.

Called out back in 2018

I am fascinated by the league tables and spend minutes pouring (sic) over them looking for clues.
I remember a good old row I had on an inferior board when I stated that basically you can tell a club's position by their GD. Not an exact science obvs. but often correct.
So................I looked at Spursy Spurs GF & GA and was surprised at the latter it is still very decent even though we all wince at memories of leaking soft or undefended goals.
Then going to GF and it is reasonable but take away the 5 at Stains & the 6 at Manure
(substitute your own average say 2 at Stains and 1 at Manure) and our reasonable 37 (see Everton/Villa) drops to around 29 which I think is generous and that drops us (well no team is currently on 29) so just below the Woolwich Nomads.
So from those figures we are under scoring.
Come on Jose get them firing again.

Jeezuz anynone can draw a fucking line going up a page!! Don't see too many frigging trophies on your stupid spreadsheet do I??
No and I also didn't ask how many training grounds or stadiums we have built either!!!
The 4 free chocolates. Jesus wept. Did you honestly type 'Number of stadiums built: 1', 'Number of Training Grounds Built:1' in to an excel spreadsheet?? Holy fuck if you did!!
Your username is entirely appropriate!!

Excuse me for expressing an opinion but I thought this was a forum.

No need to excuse yourself. Your passion is admirable! (y)

Reading your posts just reminds me of something my dad always used to say to me (usually for being a sarcastic little bastard)..

"It's not what you say, it's the way that you say it."

Peace ✌

I think it was @spursfan77 that alluded to it before the match about Jose basically giving West Ham their team talk for them after the stupid comments he made. Well according to Declan Rice that’s exactly what happened.

if only he could give our lads as much motivation before we go out on the pitch.

Real face palm moment there from the special one.

I haven’t seen Rice’s words but it was a weird thing for Mourinho to say at the time.

not sure of the exact words but along the lines of West Ham won’t finish in the top 4 and our places are likely to swap come the end of the season.

you see this is what really bugs me, after all the times our players have had to watch them celebrate victories over us that stopped us doing something and the way they reacted to getting a draw earlier this season you’d have thought that there would be at least some fire in the bellies to go out there and stuff it right back up them.

I've stopped having this expectation since the last season of Poch. If they couldn't get fired up for the CL FINAL, then what the hell is West Ham?
