What can you say, had the pressure and a couple of great chances but just haven't put the ball in the net (and the one we did was offside). Just got to keep going and be a bit more clinical.

No Dembele doesn't need to push up nor do we need Winks, he's sitting deep enough so that When Boro attack he can win the ball back, with Dembele and Wanyama we're just pressurising the Boro midfield and they keep losing the ball. Our attacking and build up play is fine we're just not finishing these chances.

I'm fairly confident. Needs to be an early one though.

0-0 written all over this, just cant see us scoring.... how many times this year have we broken down these teams where they have kept us to 0-0 at HT...!

I hope I am wrong, as seriously suspect dropped points here today - Bye Bye Top 4... as the lads confidence will drop with the pool game next weekend.

It has got end of last season written all over it... we maybe kids but we got to learn and we keep hearing they have but how... its the same thing every week. We have a purple patch over xmas which gives us hope and then we go back to these turgid performances

hopefully I am wrong and we are cheering a goal or 2 in the second half but cant see us scoring today

You depressing bastard.

I don't even think Boro are defending that well. Gaps all over the place. A bit of scramble defence but mostly hanging on by pure luck and our wastefulness.

Son should have buried that goal... poor decision and didnt even look up.
Alderweireld hit the post.
Kane should have buried that header.
We had a Kane goal disallowed cause offside.

We need to win this and i believe we will. COYS

Take a chill pill StevePil

On a seriously note i understand your frustration but there's still 45 minutes to go. If it finishes at full time and we've dropped points ill join you with the moaning.

Son should not be on the left.

Wanyama was a good purchase but we've wasted money on Sissoko and Janssen.

They don't look nearly as organized as Sunderland did on Tuesday or as Hull have been under Silva. They're there for the taking, we just have to be more clinical with our chances.

Is it just me or the moment Jan gets injured, Toby gets shunted out to the left and our play from the back does not look as balanced and smooth as normal? He nèeda that bit more time to get the ball to his right foot before pinging it out.

Son really needs to step up his game second half. He has had so much time on the ball out wide yet not made the most of it at all. His descision making has been woeful.

We've played very well, but so have Boro, within their limited brief. We could have scored 2, but on the other hand it's not as if we've been sloppy or wasteful. Boro are making it difficult.

They aren't coping with Dembele in midfield and can't handle Son's pace on the left. I'm surprised that 2/3 of our wide attacks have been on the left - Walker and Eriksen have been relatively quiet. And there's been little switching of position between the attacking four.

We just have to keep it tight, not do anything stupid and make chances.

I wonder if Boro will try to have a go after HT. I'm not sure it's their style.

They should swap roles at the very least, Wanyama shouldn't constantly be ahead of Dembele in normal play.

Ok, we haven't scored but we have been in complete control. Don't get the negativity.
Think it's more frustration than anything else. Don't think there's anyone who'd say we're not playing well, overall.

Son created our best chance (I think as my net is shite) so it's not all bad.

Second place, 14 and a half games to play and people write we will be out of TOP 4 because the score is 0;0 at half time. I really don't get it.
