A few of my friends and I are recording our first episode tomorrow night.

I expect it to be awful.

I will be plugging it here ?

Although not a podcast I watched Chris cowlins (who is on LWOS a lot) YouTube spurs chat channel with special quest Ramon Vega on last night and was very comical. Vega had a few WiFi problems and had clearly had a few drinks in him before the show

I can’t attest to the quality as I’m yet to listen but if anyone fancies giving at least a portion of it a listen any feedback would be welcome.

Fairly obvious content to start with. Start to the season, transfer window, and towards the end some poking fun at me.

I’m the one with the horrible high pitched voice and ability to stretch out short words to several times as long.

My new podcast is out tomorrow. It’s a two hour show which reviews all of the other thousands of Spurs podcasts.

I listened to it and enjoyed it, I was working whilst listening and it helped me not to procrastinate. I thought a good mix of personalities, very happy that there was no lad banter because I absolutely can't stand it. I liked the different topics, I think each topic lasted a good amount of time, I thought a good balance between current events and then more specific subjects. I thought everybody was clued up. There wasn't anything too opinionated which I liked, there was no negativity.

I used to listen to the athletic's spurs podcast and I tried it today and they changed whose involved and it they've got somebody new who was just awful, which is why I was happy this podcast popped up, I found it interesting that this conversation had as much if not more knowledge and opinion on Spurs than people who are paid to. I think podcasting is the perfect antidote to the nepotism/gatekeeping that is so often found in football when it pertains as to whose qualified to talk about.

I also liked the balance between the acknowledgement of a mix in terms of how intense a football fan each person was, hearing some being reasonably casual football fans was really good I think, I find it a bit annoying when football fans have to prove that they sacrificed careers and marriages to go to an F.A cup 3rd round replay in Torquay, this was just the perfect balance of that, no egos in that regard and a good casual football chat.

If other people are looking for a way to stop themselves refreshing the internet every 5 minutes and to trick the brain into working whilst getting your spurs fix, I'd highly recommend.

It was an easy listen.
Enjoyed that it was a discussion rather than people trying to be funny ect.

Nice work. Really enjoyed that and will definitely add it to my regular Spurs listening (I’m struggling with View From the Lane now they have Danny Kelly involved).

Thank you very much. I’m sure it won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I’m chuffed even a few people are responding positively. If you’re on Twitter give us a follow too, we’re hoping for some audience participation ?

Rubbish, hang your head in shame…

Of course I’m joking, really liked it and can only concur what others have said. Good atmosphere, no forced ‘bants’ or outrageous opinions that are looking to provoke reactions. Exactly what I’d want from a Spurs podcast (y)

Still no idea which one you are (didn’t notice a high pitched voice) but given your username on here I will be outraged if you weren’t the one who opted to bring back Ginola (shocked nobody opted for Dembele in that section).

Will def add that to my list of regular podcasts

? obviously I would’ve gone with him but I had to choose different players that hadn’t been days yet.

TFC, View from the lane were main two for me. I can't stand LWOS because Sacks and every guest go all Jim White sensational voice wise and start acting lol. Best one now imo is Same ol' Spurs with Majestic and Gazza. Maj is pretty funny and Gazza the more sensible one.
I'll have to give Same old Spurs a try as i've been looing for a new spurs podcast. I use to love TFC but i thinks it's been really poor since it's went to patron membership..
I agree with your point LWOS

Been looking for Spurs/football pods for a while. LWOS is touch and go for me. TFC is a bit much at times. Gold and Guest is a good listen. Just started Football Ramble and enjoyed the one I listened to reviewing the Prem weekend.
Not a Spurs pod but someone mentioned Undr The Cosh, i gave it a go and once you get past the first ten minutes (on each pod) of ramblings, I found it hilarious. Two former footballers interviewing former footballer about their careers and telling stories of what the players used to get up to in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. Some of the stories had me stitches. As it old stories, it's timeless. The one from Glen Little gives an insight to Gazza at Burnley. There are a few spurs players interviewed such as Clive Allen and Michael Brown.

Yeah what the fuck is that about? I've always found him really annoying to listen to.

Are you Spotify and iTunes only or will you be available on other apps as well?

I'm enjoying it. It's easy to distinguish the voices from one another which is a good thing, the audio quality is decent and frankly better than quite a few professional podcasts, just need to try to cut out some excessive breathing into the mic. How is the production done by the way? Feel free to answer as PM to not take it totally off topic but occasionally mixing audio is part of my job so I'm interested to hear how others do it, I far from want to dig out your producer because as I say it's pretty good.

I've given the Twitter account a follow (y)
