Hi guys,

I am hoping to create a thread to post links for Tottenham related podcasts.

*Please do not spam with any links not related to Tottenham.

Fighting Cock Extra Inch is good. It's like TFC but only the people who actually know what they're talking about and without all the "hilarious" talk about who wanks the most and whether you'd rather suck off a horse or a camel

No holds barred on TFC can be sometimes be hit or miss but when its hit it is very funny.

Doesn’t Spurs take up enough of our time already? Plus all our fans are knobs. Including me. Especially me.

Can't think of a podcast subject I'm less up for spending time with than a Spurs podcast.

Mike Duncan's Revolutions and CinemaSins' SinCast for the win.

Agree. I subscribe to both TFC and Extra Inch but only really listen to TFC when they do special pods like interviews with the Trust, ex-players, etc, and the special they did with Colin Murray and Steven Warnock which was really good. Whenever I listen to the regular episodes I want to skip half of them. Extra Inch is really good, I like listening to Nathan, Windy and Bardi.

I think the lads who do extra inch come across as quite knowledgeable and you usually come away having learned something about our tactics or about one of the younger players etc. And they seem to do some research beforehand. The lads on the normal TFC are all well and good but it's very much just a few mates down the pub chatting breeze. I get that that's the style they're going for and obviously it has its place, but I already hear enough ill-informed knee jerk opinions by talking to my actual mates or just reading the match threads on here so for me I don't feel like it's worth listening to TFC whereas extra inch is usually quite informative. Just my two cents anyway.

Windy used to be on here a lot and has his very obvious biases toward youth players and against certain players he feels blocks the youth players' path (Trippier, Aurier, Dier etc.), but I feel he is a good speaker and can sometimes argue quite well. Nathan is the one who you really listen to and feel you can learn something from.

I'm put off Last Word on Spurs because of their links with Ricky Sacks and because of their presence on Twitter. "It's just banter" only goes so far for me, they're fucking infantile all of the time and they make me cringe.

On the other hand, I could listen to The Fighting Cock all day. You're right about the "mates down the pub" atmosphere but there are some real gems amongst them (RickyTFC is hilarious). They also do special episodes with the Supporters' Trust and Colin Murray was on one last season (about the Champions League, I believe it was between our matches against City and AJax). They've also put together social events which seemed successful. It's just about all I need in a pod about the club, and The Extra Inch is the cherry on top for more intelligent discourse.

They‘ve just claimed to have “teamed up” with Patreon as well, when in reality they’ve just created an account. These nauseating misleading cash-grabs are what makes me absolute abhor every Spurs Twitter account. They are so fucking unfunny, it’s unreal. Lowest common denominator humour.

I'm sick of the desperation to interwove this "lads being lads" into sports, Sky sports are doing it, these podcasts are doing it. I'm 28 so it's not like I'm old man yells at cloud but you can be humorous without trying to bring the lad culture into supposed insight. Crouch for example is the perfect example of humour blended with insight.
