Are you Spotify and iTunes only or will you be available on other apps as well?

I'm enjoying it. It's easy to distinguish the voices from one another which is a good thing, the audio quality is decent and frankly better than quite a few professional podcasts, just need to try to cut out some excessive breathing into the mic. How is the production done by the way? Feel free to answer as PM to not take it totally off topic but occasionally mixing audio is part of my job so I'm interested to hear how others do it, I far from want to dig out your producer because as I say it's pretty good.

I've given the Twitter account a follow (y)
Thank you very much ? will PM you but I’m really happy how week this seems to have gone down! Also available on Podbean if anyone else was wondering.

Up on Spotify with E1: https://open.spotify.com/episode/7arPRSFVjHf8Mxw8gGKgfs?si=6urvFMkvQI6eTb_9kDNQ2w&dl_branch=1

I can’t attest to the quality as I’m yet to listen but if anyone fancies giving at least a portion of it a listen any feedback would be welcome.

Fairly obvious content to start with. Start to the season, transfer window, and towards the end some poking fun at me.

I’m the one with the horrible high pitched voice and ability to stretch out short words to several times as long.

Really good, this (I'm assuming from your description you're Elio? Wouldn't have said high pitched but since you have, it's the highest pitch on there, and I would presume a regular poster on a Spurs forum for years would qualify as a 10/10 fan)

I think the concept of having a regular who's a fan of another club is genius, and you can sense that aspect is going to grow and is ripe for milking. It grounds it really well (the anthesis of that Arsenal Fan TV approach), and makes it feel more like a chat with mates, where you're keeping each other in check rather than falling down rabbit holes. Also gives it a USP.

I like the calm vibe quite in line with View From The Lane pre-Danny "THE BELLS ARE RINGING OUT IN LONDON TOWN!!!" Kelly (similar mix of fans and non-fans, albeit it journos), light ribbing rather than bantz. Good mix of personalities, instantly recognisable, as others have said no forced banter, feels very natural, all intelligent guys, I like the data vs eyes divide.

It being the first meant a lot of it needed to be introductions, so my only constructive criticism would be because of this it feels a bit long, and then ends quite abruptly – wonder if there could be a way of breaking it up into segments with audio/filler bits (rather than just at the start and the end). I'll be intrigued to see how it is when there's some actual games to talk about, too, which will likely aid the structure.

All in all, great start, have followed. The presenter guy Dags is very good, don't know what he does for a living but he sounds professional.

Really enjoyed it, as already said about the neutral fan thought that is a good idea. Don’t know if it would be good to have additional friends ie Arsenal fan before were playing arsenal.

Was absolute shit! More of a disappointment than Ndombole’s spurs career! ?

Episode 2 is up for those of you who listened to and enjoyed the first one, and for those of you who didn’t but are interested to see if I’m as big a tit off SC as I am on it…

It's really encouraging that we have a few of our own partaking in making their own podcasts and I hope you're all successful in your endeavours.

My only ask is that you try to maintain a positive vibe. That is something that always turns me off when a podcast turns into a bitch fest that I don't have to listen to.

Not sure anybody is up for it right now but episode 3 is up. You think I bring bloody minded positivity in the face of all reason on here… then give this a listen to see that it’s not an act ?

For anyone not trying to completely hide from Spurs right now, here’s an hour of a slightly different tone to the previous episodes:

I'm trying to listen to Last word on spurs.

Bloody hell it's awful. About as knoedgeable as a plank of wood, z list celebs ranting about football with zero insight.

I'm sure they're nice people but I don't need to listen to that shite

Come and check out our stream, Albert. I can't guarantee huge knowledge, but you'll have a good laugh.

Where do I find it?
@RickyVilla usually posts a link the day we broadcast - usually Thursday, but when there's a European match on we do Fridays.

If you see RickyVilla's post a couple up from this one - that's last Friday's show. It's a bit longer than usual - we normally only do a couple of hours, but there's both joking and banter and serious discussion and then the quiz at the end.

Alternatively, search for 'Shelfside Spurs' on YouTube.

Enjoy!

My favourite so far from our episodes. Not the polished product of RV and Rez but enjoying doing it.

Sounds great to me mate. We are about as polished as Dele's passing.
