We want to win the Semi final, ideally in the last minute of extra time, so the Chelsea players are nice and drained for the Southampton game on Tuesday night.
Ideally no extra time. We could do without the extra minutes, given our style.

I feel this game is going to be a real clash as it could define both team's season. Exciting!

What are you talking about? Away games? What does that have to do with our run in? We play at home to two teams in the top 7. In the other four games, 3 wins, 1 draw.

The fact that Chelsea are playing first most times now might help them but I am not so sure, we are now at the stage where they believe we will win our games anyway so if they have not got their game won well before the end they will get rattled.

The playing first works both ways. It's a great opportunity to put pressure on, but if you slip up it's terrible. We just got to hope they drop points.

Win on Saturday and I think we win the title. Lose on Saturday, I still think it's possible, but could give Chelsea the second wind they seem like they need right now.

So what you are saying is that we are playing for the double on Saturday, nice.

Told my Chelsea supporting friend I reckon whoever wins on Saturday will win the league. The momentum from that will see the winner likely do the double.

IF we can beat Palace then I think we will continue to push on. The key weekend is 29/30 April. Us v Woolwich and Chavs v Everton away.

This. Everton have the second best home record this season. They also 3rd in the form table for the last 6 and last 10 games. They will be no push over by any stretch of the imagination. IF Chelsea lose to Everton and we can beat Le Arse then the cat really is amongst the pidgeons and anything could happen.

All that said we have to beat Palace and keep taking one game at a time and, as Poch says we just have to be there if Chelski slip up.

On MNF Gary Neville made a very relevant point. At this stage of the season momentum is everything. If you have it, and we do, the adrenaline kicks in and it carries you through. If you don't and you are under pressure you start choking and things get difficult.

Chelski aren't at the stage yet but if they lose this weekend they could easily get there with their game against Saints only 3 days later and then away to Everton next Sunday. This next 12 days or so will be crucial in terms of who ends up with what at the end of the season.

It's definitely a pivotal game IMO - similar to how the wheels came off our push last year (although realistically, Leicester didn't slip up) at our game against Chelski - this could be the game to do it again - either we win and it knocks them or vice versa.

Carragher was also making a point about a few Chelsea players looking a little heavy legged, particularly Luiz who he thought was off the pace all game. I think we're in their heads already, and a win on Saturday could be a massive blow.

I think we have a genuine chance. The semi-final against Chelsea is massive, a win could really give that last bit of belief (if it's even needed) to the players that they are good enough. It could make the Chelsea players doubt themselves, make Conte doubt himself a little. There will be intense pressure on all the Chelsea staff because of Roman, they must win it, they can't lose it. The media have started to mention that it will be the biggest bottle job in Premier League history, Newcastle only blew a 12 point lead and that was from January. Chelsea were 13 points clear in March, yes we had a game in hand, but that means nothing to the headlines. Also, its not an inexperienced Newcastle chasing their 1st title in years, chased by the Fergie's all conquering dynasty that was Manchester United back then. They are the multiple title winners, being chased by a team they hate and would feel embarrassed to lose to under the best of circumstances, let alone it going down in history as the biggest collapse since football began in 1992. I can't see Roman not piling on the pressure from within.
Costa doesn't look to interested or he is just in poor form, talk of him wanting to leave. The noises are starting to appear in the media about Real Madrids interest in Hazard with players talking about him and how great and wonderful he is, their typical tapping up, helping unsettle them.
Also, not been mentioned yet but may become something, people have said about the egos they have in their squad. Well John "Mr Chelsea" Terry has announced he is leaving at the end of the season. This could be really good for us. He could of kept quiet, waited out the season, but he has publicially announced it. I think this will put pressure on Conte to give him some game time, a fairwell. Terry will certainly want one. He will want to be involved in someway, in his final year, he is a club legend and has the biggest ego at Chelsea. Hopefully this will cause some unrest, maybe a shift in personnel and tactics to fit him in.
It's a tough ask for us to win all 6 remaining games but we have the team and manager to do it. I know its hard after all the dark days of our past but this isn't that team. The last 2 years we have very rarely been outplayed, rarely turned up, conceded the fewest goals and banged in a fucking boat load, more that i can ever remember in a season (fell in love with Spurs in 87, Chris Waddle, just brilliant). We shouldn't fear any of those games, they are hard games but that may help us, keeps the players focused, hopefully stops complacency creeping in, which may happen with Chelsea because they have easy games on paper, gimmes, just got to turn up.
So who knows, it will be an exciting end to a fantastic season and even if we miss out, it will have been a fantastic season for us. We are still a young inexperienced team, we are learning all the time and we should continue to improve.
IMHO, I think we will do the double. Would love to smash Arsenal in the final, Parade both Trophies at our new temporary home in front of all their crying fans. Then to just to continue to progress over the coming years.
It's difficult not to see the similarities between us and the young Manchester United side under Fergie, okay they had a bit more experience in Bruce, Palister, Irwin, Robson who had won a couple of Titles, an FA and CWC before the class of 92 broke through. We certainly seem to have the talent though, the togetherness/spirit, desire, they seem to have and a manager they would run through walls for. At least that's the vibe at the club. Maybe I'm getting too carried away there but it looks very promising. Just need to add a Trophy.

Lets face facts people. It's highly unlikely that we will win the league.
It's nice and we have to keep the pressure up, but lets not get carried away.

Chelsea = 26 points in 2017 (13 games) = 2 points per game
Tottenham = 35 points in 2017 (14 games) = 2.5 points per game

If the points per game statistics haven't change by the end of the season we'll miss out on the title by one point.

EDIT: Of course, we have taken maximum points from our last six matches, or since we exited the Europa League.

How anybody can think this will be a disappointing season for Spurs is weird.
I'm lucky enough to have seen the double winning side built and come to fruition and I think we have the same happening now.
This is a season to remember for all the right reasons, even if we end up without a trophy we have played some great football and are IMHO the best TEAM in the league.
Continue it next season and we will be champs even playing at Wembley. We had one really poor game there and a couple of indifferent ones but we were no different playing at the lane during those times and our away form wasn't brilliant either.

Got a feeling in my gut that we are going to do the double and beat Arsenal in the final to win the FA Cup, if that does happen and we win the league at the expense of Chelsea I am not sure my body could handle it.

So, it could effectively be that when we face Arsenal at home in the NLD, we win, could effectively see it mathmatically possible for them to finish above us.

Now that would be a great way to have our last NLD at WHL, and to break this fricking voodoo.
