The biggest issue now is that Chelsea play before us 4 out of the next 5 games, only out game v West Ham is before theirs that weekend. This is a massive factor again and I think it's quite unfair. It should be rotated. I know we've played first the last two weeks but we were 10 points behind 2 weeks ago.

I hope even if Chelsea go and win their games it doesn't wear the team down playing after them like it did last season when we played every fucking Monday for about a year.

This year is not last year. Players were going thru their first title challenge, we relied too much on Kane, Dier was spent. We don't have those same issues now. We are more economical in how we play, players are more rested, Son adds another goal threat, Wanyama more rotation. Last year we were paper thin and then lost players....This year we may not wjn fhe title but we are not going away.

My head says Chelsea will win the title comfortably without us closing in further.

Having said that there are enough signs for Chelsea to drop points in remaining fixtures. For us to win the title, we got to win all the PL games to give ourselves some chance.

i) Chelsea have not kept a cleansheet in PL in last 10 games, since beating Hull on 22 Jan. Spurs have kept 6 PL cleansheet in those 10 games
ii) Costa has just scored only 2 goals since the Hull game.
iii) Chelsea were lucky with injuries till Jan but in last few games, injuries are disrupting them. If Alonso is out, it disturbs their balance.
iv) Chelsea aren't ripping teams, they have been scrapping wins. If doubts set in their camp & opposition teams, how inferior they may be, could sense it, will go after them
iv) Chelsea recent form is 2 loss in 4 games. With games against Southampton, Everton, WBA pending, its not impossible to see them lose a game or draw a game.

But as I said, to give us a chance we got to win all the remaining games.

I agree it seems a bit unfair, however It can also act as an extra incentive for us if they drop points first (which they obviously have to do for us to have a chance). I just hope this more mature team can seize on any opportunities that they missed out on last year - couldn't we have gone top if we'd won the NLD at the lane? I have faith that if we get a chance this year, we will take it.

I know Chelski have huge experience within their squad but it's certainly not the Chelsea squad of old.

I'm sure Terry doesn't have quite the influence of previous years as he's rarely on the field.

What's pleasing me most is Costas attitude. I dont think he'll be there next season. And that's great for us in this run in.

IF we can beat Palace then I think we will continue to push on. The key weekend is 29/30 April. Us v Woolwich and Chavs v Everton away.

Look I am so happy the way the club is going and who would of thought us Spurs fans could potentially witness us doing the league and cup double. Never in my life have I thought Spurs could achieve something like this. But I just feel it's going to be a carbon copy of last season where we are going to be left disappointed. We seem to be playing catch up again with Chelsea playing virtually all their games before us ( exactly like Leiceseter last season ) and I just feel we're going to be sitting there disappointed as Chelsea win game after game :(

I know it sounds really negative but I have to be a realist here. I praye to god I am wrong and I believe the team has certainly stepped up from last season but I just feel Chelsea will do a Leicester and pretty much win every game now ( apart from the Fa cup ;) .... Fa cup trophy and 2nd place = stunning season. It could end with nothing though with Chelsea beating us to both the league and cup :(

Can I just say, regardless of where we go from here, this has been one heck of a great season. Above and beyond what I can remember having witnessed. In my mind, all players, managers and coaches should be well proud. Everybody deserves a trophy to their name, but even if it does not happen, what a great time it has been.

I'm feeling pretty good right now. No one in our list of fixtures scares me, we're in great form and flying.

All the chat about more difficult fixtures largely rests on the fact we play United and Arsenal, and that is still leaning very heavily on history. We'll be favourites for every game we go into, as will they be. But we don't have a fixture like Everton away coming up. When you take into recent form etc. I think things are looking pretty good. I'd take the form and fixtures we have compared to theirs.

The only thing that matters is saturday. Forget the league (for now), it's all about going balls out for the cup.

If Chelsea lose the SF, then it will be another defeat and if they can lose that then who knows... but... even if they still go onto win the league, we will at least have a shout at that one trophy and can claim to having had a great season, without the stigma of falling short.

For me the SF is crucial as it keeps us mentally up for the run in, irrespective of Chelsea's performances. It's the one thing we can still take away from them and we should be wholey focused on that.

We want to win the Semi final, ideally in the last minute of extra time, so the Chelsea players are nice and drained for the Southampton game on Tuesday night.
