Surprised there's been no comments on the Brown trade yet.

Browns definitely have the best skills players on offense now. Should be fun to watch.
Steelers look like they got worked over (Amari Cooper is worth a 1st round pick afterall) but AB's contract is outrageous so there weren't many teams that could compete.
But looking at what the Raiders did, the somehow turned Amari Cooper (a lazy route runner with a tendency to drop passes) and a 3rd and 5th round pick into Antonio Brown and a 1st round pick. Someone in that front office knows how to sell.
Agree. Raiders have played a blinder there I reckon. Steelers have had their pants pulled down massively on that one IMO. It's a terrible deal for them unless those 3rd and 5th round picks miraculously turn into top talents.
Reading on it, the problem was ABs contract. Other teams apparently could offer higher picks but couldn't take on the money after AB re-did his contract. So instead there being 3 teams going for AB it was basically the Raiders and no one else.
But, with the Raiders getting a first for Cooper and the Giants getting a 1st, 2nd and Peppers for OBJ the Brown trade looks even worse.
Gronk has retired.
35 when going to the hall isn't too bad I supposeIt was coming. He was basically a husk of himself for us last season.
Hard to believe he is just turning 30. He was an absolutely spectacular player for us. Dan LeBatard described him best "He's like a polar bear with good hands", When he was at his peak he was a Randy Moss, Dieon Sanders calibre game changer, i would have loved to have seen what he could have done if he was healthy his entire career but he had a hell of a run. He'll have his fun as he waits to get into the HoF on his first ballot.
Curious to see if we package some of our picks and try to move up and grab Hockenson or Fant or if we just try to get someone like Jared Cook for a one season rental.
