Interesting btw.
Yeah sounds like he had enough which is encouraging in terms of them making a change.
Interesting btw.
I hear what you are saying and don't neccesarily disagree but nobody decent is binning off a job mid season to come to us. So, who does that leave us with - Eddie Howe????
I'm not even going there.Northern Irish is British. Thats a fact.
Paratici deserves a lot of the flack for this.Yeah sounds like he had enough which is encouraging in terms of them making a change.
That isn't a fact. It's the United Kingdom of Great Britain AND Northern Ireland. So Northern Ireland is part of the UK, not part of Britain.Northern Irish is British. Thats a fact.
Can’t remember but Why did conte not happen in the summer? Was it to do with us or him
Bit of both. Can’t remember but Why did conte not happen in the summer? Was it to do with us or him

It's not clear whether it was about us "not investing" or rather not wanting to give him the level of control to play his way or freeze out certain players.Us. we didnt match his ambition aka were not willing to invest n improving the squad to where he felt it needed to be.
He wanted the job but on his terms.
Didn't it also have to do with the number of coaches he wanted to bring in?Us. we didnt match his ambition aka were not willing to invest n improving the squad to where he felt it needed to be.

You have to argue whether any manager who is wary of taking a step up because of the idea that working with Daniel Levy is a poisoned chalice, really has what it takes to manage at a top club. If it's true that Potter, for example, is not interested in making the move to Tottenham, then more than likely he has found his level and is not the solution. The opportunity is available now, and sure he could wait around for a marginally "better" opportunity in the future, but if that is the mindset then it's just as much a risk that an opportunity like this never comes again.
If on the other hand a manager truly believes he is good enough to manage at the top, and really believes that he will have other opportunities like this in the future, then taking an admittedly difficult job at Spurs will not be a deterrent to them. That's why I think Conte would still be interested, for example. He has nothing to prove. Some might call it arrogance but it's hard to deny this kind of self-belief is characteristic of top managers.
Didn't it also have to do with the number of coaches he wanted to bring in?
