This is so baffling. I know Levy can’t help himself. But why would Conte tolerate not being backed? He has no reason to stay if Levy won’t support his vision. And if past is precedent, Conte has no problem chucking out the baby and the bath water in this type of situation. Patience isn’t exactly his strong suit.

Suprised so many don't rate Dumfries, sure someone like Porro would be better but Porro is probably very hard to get and Dumfries would be a good upgrade on Emerson/Doherty.

I had seen him a small handful of times when he was at PSV and I must admit I was annoyed we didn’t go for him as he seemed from that small selection of games, plus his stats, that he would be perfect for us. I have since seen about 90% of his games at Inter and my opinion has completely changed. I don’t think he is near technically good enough for what we require in this system. Is he better then Royal, well yes but that’s not a huge step, but his final ball and decision making is incredibly lacking. Like someone else said, he’d be like a sideways half step up rather than a proper improvement. At 26 I honestly don’t see him greatly improving ether. Personally I think it would be an unwise move and we’d be better off giving Spence a larger role if we don’t have the money to buy a proper improvement.

Yes I did! 300 over two windows and such, it later came to be the case of excuses put out by certain elements in the club to hoodwink the fans. I am by nature very positive. Unfortunately that has been knocked out of me.

This is infuriating to me. The money is there to be invested in the squad.

We've still got £50m of the capital injection that has yet to be drawn down, and then there are the CL earnings from this season which are currently estimated to be in the region of £80m (including matchday revenue) even if we lose both of the upcoming matches against Milan. That's not even accounting for potential player sales, meager as they are likely to be.

I'm sure I remember Ally Gold reporting about a month ago that the intention was to use the remaining £50m, plus the CL revenue, on the squad. For Levy to play silly buggers with one of the winningest managers of his generation, when the club happens to be flush with cash at exactly the moment when clubs all over Europe are reeling financially and likely need to sell, is unforgiveable.

There’s some articles involving Ali gold today talking about Lewis daughter taking over and Kane being much more vocal about transfers etc. just hope kane tells levy how it is
