Sky are reporting Arsenal have agreed to sign Tomiyasu, so I expect that one definitely isn't happening for us.

Emerson is a brilliant signing stop worrying about how many fricking right backs we have. If Aurier doesn’t leave then he doesn’t play simple. Emerson improves the first 11 without a doubt
Exactly, it’s been our weakest position since Walker left.

In the last hour we’ve had:

1) We’re still in for Traore and our chances are greater than 50%
2) We have the money should we decide to pay the asking fee
3) We’re still in for a CM
4) Emerson looks as good as done
5) Ignore the press, they don’t have a clue what is going on

That’s pretty positive news yet a lot of the recent comments are focusing on point 5 (believing the press guess work) and moaning that Emerson = no forward, again ignoring the fact we’ve been told the money is there if we want to spend it.

I think (guess) we’re trying for a surprise late one. Our typical behaviour is to hijack others deals that have fallen down in other ways but the price is “out there”, or to pick up players that are easily to acquire late in the market.

I wouldn't say the press have no idea what's going on(with the exception of JPB). I'd say Ally's tweet was where we were last night if that makes sense.

We are also still looking at possibly bringing in another CM. No names given but we are still in the mix.
That’s good news. There must be a few loans from Spanish and Italian clubs being offered today that may not have been available previously. I assuming we will be looking to loan a CM.

A bit worried about our goal scoring capabilities this season..
Absolutely.... if a striker doesn't materialise today we better pray Kane has an injury free season and Sonny keeps scoring consistantly all season. Or else we are going to be pretty dry on the goals front.

Yep, if our two best players and highest goal scorers, worth a combined £200m+ don't score any goals this season we're fucked. This story is also true for every other football team.

I was just about to ask about JPB. Thanks for pre-empting my question

Whenever Nuno is asked about transfers he talks about the team needing balance.
We are certainly not balanced currently

Whats this got to do with Paratici ?
We were unbalanced even before he came in.
To me, it looks like Nuno said he wanted a new RB - Paratici delivered with Emerson. If we cant move 1 player on, why is that on him ?
Tanganga became a RB because Nuno been playing him there - its not by design we have him as RB
Jose also identified him as a RB rather than a CB.

To me it looks like we need to be ready to accept that there will be squad members left out in the cold, collecting wages but not registered. A la Aurier. If Levy is prepared to do that then I'm sure another deal or two will happen.

Maybe even some quick late loans in and out will be options
