Whenever Nuno is asked about transfers he talks about the team needing balance.
We are certainly not balanced currently

Do you think we would have bought Emerson, if Nuno didnt want him ?
If Nuno wanted Emerson then it means he wanted to shift one out and bring him as no1.

Why are we assuming Nuno isnt involved in decision making

Yep, if our two best players and highest goal scorers, worth a combined £200m+ don't score any goals this season we're fucked. This story is also true for every other football team.

First of all nobody said Kane and Son won't score goals but if Kane gets injured as sadly he always seems to and Sonny has a dry spell where do the goals come from! People have been saying for the past couple of seasons we need another forward we have now lost Bale and Vinnie and have promoted a kid to the squad. I think it's clear we need another to come in. Yet when the obvious is stated people get salty.....some weird ones in here.

Firstly, we don't need to score more goals this season, that wasn't our problem last season, Chelsea finished 4th and scored 10 goals less than we did.

Secondly, there's a way to get more goals from the team without them having to come from a ST. Adding Traore will open teams up more and likely ensure more assists which in turn will lead to more goals.

Last season we had a proper European competition to worry about (and try to win) - this season we don't. Vinnie only contributed in Europe.

Kane's been injured before and it's been fine. In fact he made more appearances for us last season than he has since 15/16 and it didn't really help us much did it?

If we don’t get another attacking body in, preferably striker that will be shocking.
We have 1 senior striker in our squad.
We must at least bring in a loan forward for cover at least.

Atleast we had Bale last season to chip in with some goals.

Our defence will have to keep up this form all season, if we aren’t to as score many as we’d like.

Vinicius started 1 game in PL and did nothing. So, lets not make it as if Vinicius was like a huge miss - if I remember he didnt even make most of the matchday squad as well. Bale did score but most in dead games.

IMO, Our goal scoring problem was down to not replacing Dele last season. Dele brings in 8 to 10 goals a season. He had just 7 starts and similarly Stieve. With Dele in PL squad, we will rectify that problem. We will have good number of goals from midfield. Gil could also look like he will contribute

He has 2 years left on his deal and doesn't seem to be keen on signing a new one, so I am guessing we waited to put pressure on them to lower their ask. But he's started the season well for them and as they're near the bottom, they can't be selling their best players on the cheap. They're now asking more than we intended to pay.

After 5 days with no Virgin internet in Waltham Abbey its just come back on in time for last 12 hours of deadline day. This has to be a sign of something big happening!

Also in the Abbey, its been horrible with no Internet, trying to keep up with the ITK, keep up the good work guys!
