Didn't expect Hitchen to be keen to sell. Glad he and Paratici are on the same page.
Hitchen is far more switched on and clued up than many on here give him credit for.

I guess Levy has a reputation to protect, but let’s hope common sense wins. From what I've just heard FP and Hitchen have been keen to sell from the off. It's Levy and only Levy that has taken the stance we have and he's still not moving until his terms are met.
Fab feels there will never be a better opportunity to spend the cash this free's up. Sell him for next year for £100mil(for example) and we will get a fraction of the value we will get this Summer. We are all already completely aware of how switched on he is regarding clubs financial positions and players contracts especially in Italy, and he feels the timing on all this is perfect.
Despite all this being spelled out to him, Levy is still the ultimate stubborn toddler refusing to move unless he gets his own way. Like I said its principles that are at stake here, and he won't be bent over.
The thought of Kane on the bench next season, watching Haaland become a club legend is quite tasty. And the thing is with City if Kane fails to hit massive numbers this year for any reason, he could well be competing with one of them for places next season.

On this one, I completely back Levy. From what I've just heard FP and Hitchen have been keen to sell from the off. It's Levy and only Levy that has taken the stance we have and he's still not moving until his terms are met.

Not quite everyone I have to say, sorry.Buying strikers is always a bit of a lottery though (especially with us.) Look at Werner last season, everyone expected him to be brilliant in this league and he was a bit of a let down for Chelsea, so much so that they’ve splurged another hundred million on Lukaku this summer.
Also, while I’m hopeful of the potential of Scarlett, he’s still just a kid that’s not scored a senior goal, was only 18 months ago everyone was creaming themselves over Parrot.
I think people are underestimating just how damaging it’s going to be to lose Kane.
I also remember in Levy’s PR vid he did during the manager search he was asked about Kane and he said that Fabio is the one who will decide which players come and go. Clearly he’s gone back on that.I agree to a point. What I would say is that perhaps things might have happened a bit quicker had it not been a strategy to just slam the phone down every time they called. Maybe if Fab had have been given a minimum number and actually talked to them. As I've said before I totally understand Levy's stance, just not sure the tactics are entirely the right ones. I mean if you have zero intention of selling then fine, but if you do have a number in mind then being slightly amicable is probably worth while.
Can definitely see both sides to this. And agree with both. From what I've just heard FP and Hitchen have been keen to sell from the off. It's Levy and only Levy that has taken the stance we have and he's still not moving until his terms are met.

What is the point in slamming the phone down and refusing to negotiate when he knows he is going to fold like a deck chair in the wind with 2 weeks to go.
It is always the same.
To be fair to him (and he deserves lots of criticism) he was probably only ever going to do this with one player (Kane). This isn't a player that you easily discard or let go for a lower valuation. Levy is seeing the bigger picture in his mind. And if City do come back with a bigger bid or close to what DL wants, then everyone wins.I also remember in Levy’s PR vid he did during the manager search he was asked about Kane and he said that Fabio is the one who will decide which players come and go. Clearly he’s gone back on that.

How are you getting angry at Levy for stubbornly refusing to sell one of the best players in our history to a club with unlimited finances for less than market value? ?
I'm not huge Levy fan but the guy can't win...
