Oh dear.
It's incredible how he manages to go from awful to brilliant to awful again so suddenlyAmazing to think that Moeen Ali is a batsman and part time spinner. Certainly isn’t the case now.
He’s in absolutely dreadful form and I’ve never seen someone more idiotic in situations like this.
I really pisse's me off why Roy has been sort of pushed toThe sidelines when it comes to test cricket..ok so given the opposition, given the conditions, this is up there with the worst performances i’ve seen from England.
wholesale changes needed:
1) we just can’t play a specialist wicket keeper who is batting at 8. a wasted position seeing as we have two others who can keep.
2) we mostly only need to play one spinner (Mo). and he is batting too high at 7.
3) Jennings must go now. Burns has a bit of something anout him, i would get Roy in to open with him asap.

High class limited over player at international level doesn't mean he hasn't got the mentality to do it at test level..
He hasn't got the technique. He could bat at 6 and do a decent job but his technique would get ripped apart if he opened.
Diasagree, we're bereft of any quality openers.. Cricket has changed drastically in the last 10 years,.. we're not talking boycott type opening anymore. He hasn't got the technique. He could bat at 6 and do a decent job but his technique would get ripped apart if he opened.
lots of players haven’t had the best technique but have made great careers out of test cricket. in fact, some of the best ever.
Roy is one of the most technically gifted players we’ve had in an age. he would do a brilliant job. Sangakkara said Roy’s main issue is that he gets bored, can play too many different shots to the same ball, and fets himself out. if he was given an opportunity he would, in my opinion, be one of our best in a while.
