Ok there's knee jerk threads and reactions about, theres tears and heartache.........I know I felt it too but.....................
Let's look through the crap and think back to when we had a that feeling that we could have even won the league. We played some cracking football and if it weren't for the England manager stuff, where would we be now? We had a massive lead in 3rd and this was with a crap transfer window!
Now some people seem to think that we won't sign player X,Y and Z because we're not in the CL but we signed Modric, VDV and Ade came in on loan........ and now some are saying "bye Bale, bye Modric" but....
Personally I don't think Modric had a "great" season and Bale I would say faded away as the season went on but why not focus on the players that have stepped up? Walker has been fantastic, Livermore looks good, Lennon's crossing is much better, there's talk that Caulker will be the next Ledley... Clubs sometimes sign players purely on their potential, I feel some players will sign for clubs for the same reason
Don't you think Levy and Co can see the same thing we can? Don't you think they know we need quality players?
All I'm saying is, we did well this season with a crap transfer window and the distraction of the heart problem, court case and the England job.
Lastly my fellow SC maniacs, do remember that ITK is posted in the rumor section so it is actually just a rumor
