I know we have had threads on this in the past, and that our atmospheres declined over the years, but yesterday was an all time low for me, I've never heard our support so bad and it's embarrassing.
Crystal Palace may not be our main rivals, but it was still a London Derby, and they were awesome yesterday, out sang us from start to finish, and taking the piss out of our support, which they were spot on with.
It really has got that bad, that even after Eriksen scoring, Adebayor was more incensed in jeering the crowd up and looked angry at the support we had given, rather than go celebrate with Eriksen, and he is right to do so.
It's no coincidence that our home form has suffered lately, and I put a large factor of this to our home support.
It's affecting the players, and references have been made by managers recently about the tense atmosphere.
It's as if our fans are too shy to start singing and they'll sing one line and then just fade out, but aren't too shy to boo or throw there abuse out when things aren't going well.
I think it's time that this has to be addressed with the club. Maybe if the Tottenham Supporters club can raise it, or another way, but something needs to be done, otherwise our new stadium is going to be pointless if we can only generate an atmosphere when we score and only sing 1 song.
The club needs to embrace the 1882 Movement more and split 2 big groups at either side of the ground. They should also make all efforts to bring the drummer back, or if not, employ their own drummer on home match days, as our atmosphere has never been the same since the drummer left.
Anyone else have any ideas, opinions and ways that the club can be brought to this attention to address.
