I’ve always said that, for the Premier League at least, no team without a specialist defensive midfielder will be consistent.

Why on Earth is Wanyama not playing? Does anyone know?

I want to see us playing a diamond. Wanyama protecting the back four, Winks and Sissoko in the middle and Eriksen operating behind a front two of Kane and Son.

And unless there are zero other options I never want to see Trippier and Davies line up in the same team ever again. One of the two is fine. Both is painfully average for a team that relies on full backs to provide quality from the wide areas.

If KWP can’t get a game now, he might as well buy a one way bus ticket to Coventry.

Praying for Alli.

Would like to see Wanyama in with Winks.

4-3–3 not a diamond and not bloody narrow

Wanyama must be proper fucked not to get a chance of starting this game if Dier isn’t back. The defence is crying out for a proper shield. The attack is too. It needs a defensive base and solidity it can depend on behind it.

Back 4
Dier/Wanyama with winks
Sissoko or Lamela
Eriksen despite him being out of form he still the only one who crops up with goals and assists
Son
Kane

Yes. Think Dier or Wanyama of old quality is a massive loss to our side

We have to endure. We have to shake yesterday's result off and head to Arsenal with a strong mind and the mentality that we can win.

I think most of you agree when I say that Rose and KWP has to start on Saturday. Kane knows these London derbies too well so having him in the squad is important. Yesterday was an off day for everyone so I'm positive that Saturday will be good regardless of yesterday's horrendous performance

COYS

edit; yeah I know that last Saturday was an off day too..

Don’t trust Walker-Peters any more than our other 2 error prone right backs.
What a position to be in that I have no faith in any of our 3 right backs.
I’d drop the undroppable Eriksen. The ultimate passenger when things are going bad.
Looking around the squad trying to pick a team for this NLD is worrying.
Has anybody got any faith in any of them?
Obviously depending on fitness...
(3-4-3)
Lloris; Alderweireld, Sanchez, Vertonghen; Aurier?, Winks, Wanyama/Dier, Rose; Lucas, Kane, Son.

Anyone know if Dele is anywhere near making an appearance in this one? I thought I read that he was back in full training but he hasn’t even made the bench as yet.

He isn't in full training just continuing to do on-field rehab.

Definitely not back in full training yet. There’d be plenty of it on social.

I would drop Lloris and Eriksen and push Winks further forward unless Dele is ready. but it ain't going to happen. Hopefully Jan is back to give us some stability

The correct line up seems so simple yet impossible that we'll actually see it.

Here's some food for thought, to cheer up those who are still fuming about certain events last night & are hoping different personnel are selected on Saturday.

We've all seen it ourselves with Foyth. If a player makes a costly error, rather than throw them under the bus, Poch tends to select them for the next game.

You're welcome (y)
