In order to get anything from this match we need the entire team to be 100% focused and sharp for 93/4 mins which won’t happen. I’m really not looking forward to this. On a busted pitch with our current half dazed style of play I can see this getting ugly.

Agree here . What has happened to our concentration ? The year we finished second we were tough all over the pitch .

Well considering Poch’s latest comments it seems like there is something rather wrong behind the scenes. We have looked punch drunk a lot of the time this season and I can’t think of a single game we dominated at our highest level for 90 mins. I don’t really see things changing any time soon.

We've been playing a little better last couple of matches so hopefully we can hold them to 3... Joking aside to have any chance this match we need to up our game 500%, I talking about performance level because play like we have this season (I know results say otherwise) and we will in all likelihood get spanked.

Lamela Dier Winks Eriksen
Llorente Kane

Lloris

Davies
Sissoko
Dembele

Lucas

Play proper Brexit football, classic 4-4-2 two big guys up front we can hoof it to, Lamela and Dier to tackle every city player
Take on Dembele for Winks and Alli for Llorente around the 60 minute

The pitch will be shit tomorrow so it will suit us, City will have some trouble playing their possession football

We can take a point tomorrow if Poch isn’t stubborn and tries to play attacking football because we will get battered, we need to play brexit football COYS

------------------------Lloris------------------------
Trippier - Sanchez - Alderweireld - Rose
-------Winks---------Dier--------Dembele----
-----------------Eriksen-----Son------------------
-------------------------Kane-----------------------

If Rose is fit, we must go with him. It's tough not to go with Lamela and/or Moura for this one becsaue they have been in good form among the so-and-so performances of late. But it makes sense to play a middle three that can harass and retain possession. We can't just sit back and play on the break, so if we have a midfield three, and then hassle and occupy Fernandinho with Eriksen and Son, we may be able to impose ourselves a bit.

Making City uncomfortable is a tough task, so we need our players to be as brave in possession as they are good at harassing the opposition. Winks and Dembele can provide that for a good 60 -70 mins, and then we'd see where we are with some decent options on the bench.

Hope to see Lamela, Eriksen & Son behind Kane, Winks and Dier behind them, and Aurier at RB.

We got to play 5 at the back and hope to counter with speed of Lucas.

If we have to go 4 at the back, I would drop Dembele and include Lamela.

why will the pitch suit us? both teams play it on the ground, they just do it quicker and more accurate.

if we go with 2 up top and lump it up, it might suit, but we will see the same as always on a shit pitch, trying to play it out from the back. this is a match Poch should set up differently and try what he did v R Madrid away last season and hope we get lucky, because at the moment we don't have the legs to play the heavy press, and with the way City press we can't afford it on a wrecked pitch

Good news for Brexiteers!! There is a high probability that we're about to crash out of europe by finishing bottom of our Champions League Group. So if you wait until we lose against PSV on 6/11, you'll get your Brexit football.

I listened to Mauricio Pochettino's press conference this week and was pretty concerned about how downbeat he was. He did mention how good our start has been in the Premier League but he didn't look happy. I think he's hoping that we can compete financially with Liverpool, Arsenal ect. Very downbeat and the lowest I've seen him.
