Bring in Walker and Rose, Dembele and Alli
Play lamela and Eriksen

I'd drop Kane for son

Personally I'd play Son over Lamela. I just think Lamela will be more effective from the bench than Son will. Son usually plays better when he starts. Everything else I agree with though.
Lamela over son in the nld. It will be a ferocious game and lamela is fearless and will get stuck in. Son isn't as strong and looks after the ball less well.

Since we don't have a unpopular opinion thread I'll post it here.....

I think we are going to lose on Saturday. I'm a bit superstitious but when was the last time Arsenal lost 3 in a row? Can't imagine them being as crap as they have been for the last 2 games.

I don't know about our lads not having the bottle for a title challenge but I certainly don't. Don't even want to watch the game really, I hate Saturday lunch kick offs, but I'll sit there and watch desperately hoping to see us win.

Can someone hold me and tell me everything is going to be ok?

It's really tempting, but Son's hardly on top form at the moment either.

He's been decent when starting a game but struggles to make any sort of impact when he comes on as a sub. Id still start Kane on Sat though, maybe this is the game where he starts banging them in again.

When they lost last night that's the first thing I thought of and I think its unlikey for them to lose yet again (would be 4 losses in all comps). Its such a massive game for both sides, atmosphere will be absolutely rocking, if we play like we have in the last 2 derbies then I think we can win and pull away from them (and go top) but its all a bit up in the air as to how both sides react to yesterday.

My nerves will be shot come Saturday lol

I agree with that. Trouble is Kane doesn't seem to do any off the ball work anymore either which made him affective when he wasn't scoring

Yesterday and against Swansea was very Defoe like, if he isn't scoring or missing great opportunities he's invisible.

We looked good against florentina with no striker.

He may need dropping to get sharpness back

Lloris
Walker Alder Wimmer Davies
Dier Dembele
Lamela Alli Eriksen
Kane

If dembele isn't fit then bring Son in, I think the west ham game showed yet again that Son isn't good as a sub and Chadli isn't a strong starter so it's no brainer for me.

Actually if our beast isn't ready to start, you are definitely on to something here. Most players thrive on confidence, and forward players on goals as well of course, and son is simply not used to being rotated or failing to get his usual one in three strike rate. He's struggling and needs a lift.

Who would your play deeper, alli or Eriksen?

Gotta go with rose on the left?

Petr Cech injured his groin after coming up for a late Arsenal corner against Swansea, while Laurent Koscielny will also miss the derby with Tottenham.

In the final minute of their 2-1 home defeat to Swansea, Cech went up for a corner. While up there, he injured his groin and will now miss the crucial north London derby.

A despondent Wenger also confirmed that Koscielny would also miss the game against Tottenham after he injured his calf.

“Petr Cech struggled. He had a groin problem before the game, and he struggled on a little bit tonight,” Wenger said.

“He will not play on Saturday.

“I trust completely [David] Ospina, I have no problem with that.

“It’s a muscular problem, a calf problem. I don’t know how long he will be out.

“Koscielny has a calf problem as well. He will not play on Saturday as well.”

It's bullshit. He's a lying xxxx and they'll both play.

I'm actually perplexed as to why I put Davies and not Rose hahaha, I'd probably initially have Alli deeper as he has significantly more bottle for a tackle.

I saw the clip of Cech pulling up. Would be amazed if he played. As for Kocielny I have no idea.

Lamela has to play. I was annoyed he was taken off last night actually. No one was playing particularly well but Lamela at least scraps and fights hard and I thought he was doing that well last night.

Wouldn't get too carried away with Wenger saying Koscielney and Cech are missing, he is one of the biggest liers I've seen, don't be fooled by his persona he is very mischievous. Anyway Kane and Lamela have to start they always have terrific games vs Arsenal.

The NLD is as much about fire, fight and ferocity as it is about wit and tactics, at least these days now that the two teams are closer together in overall ability than they once were. Alli, Lamela, Dier and if fit, Dembele are all absolute musts. Son and Chadli are both good options off the bench, as are Mason and Carroll (and yes, Mason is a fighter but Dembele is a monster), but we've been able to rely on those four all season to be in the opposition's faces, harry at every opportunity and not give an inch. As for Eriksen, he's been our best player lately, he keeps us composed and he's a match winner. Kane has been off form but I wouldn't entertain dropping him for this for one second. He's a big game player, he's still our best goalscorer and he's almost more likely to score and break his rut in this game than against supposed weaker opposition. The back five picks itself.

Dembele being back would be huge for us... a fresh Dembele too after a couple of weeks out.

Wouldn't get your hopes up on Dembele being fit for this one just yet. I reckon he's gonna miss out.

Poch has a presser at 2pm, hopefully get another update then, fingers crossed anyway.

Crucial that Dembele is fit. Team almost picks itself apart from Lamela/Son/Chadli. The most important NLD's in years. Win this and we are right back in the mix. Loosing is not even worth thinking about...

Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose; Dier, Dembele; Son, Alli, Eriksen; Kane
