Im not gonna lie - first time in a very very very long time that im so happy and relieved we are not playing this weekend. Feels like a weight off our shoulders and we can just enjoy a less stressful and peaceful weekend. I feel giddy about it.

I love Spurs but the 'break' is a Godsend.
we just had the World Cup off ..lol

Drop Lloris, Hojbjerg and Son. Bring in Forster, Bissouma and Richarlison. There's obviously plenty of other problems, but those are the main ones for me.

Forster

Romero
Dier
Lenglet

Doherty
Bissouma
Bentancur
Sessegnon

Kulusevski
Kane
Richarlison

If Mitrovic is fit then whatever team we choose has to aim to nullify him.
Therefore Romero in the middle.
Rest of the team kind of chooses itself. Perisic should play because we should aim to win on the front-foot, against this level.
Son or Richy I'm not that fussed about; Son gets another chance to sort himself out. Hopefully we can afford it..

Pointless thread, as long as 70% of our players in the team continue to play, we will lose.

Here is what I would do, not what I expect Conte to do:

Forster
Romero Dier Lenglet
Doherty Sarr Bentancur Sessegnon
Deki Kane Richarlison

We should be more attacking against Fulham, so I opted for Doherty over Royal. Sarr over PEH and Richi over Son. Could flip a coin on Sess and Perisic but we probably need to make a long term decision on Sess this summer, so better to find it more now.

Important game. Lose this and we will be competing to make seventh or with spot. Still that will be a great achievement by Conte. How can our little club compete with the likes of Fulham, Brentford et al? We are so grateful to have Conte grace our nothing club

I think we should leave Kane out of the squad for this just so we can used to what life is going to look like without him. Maybe that will make Levy put his hands in his pockets.

I’ve come round to the view that we need to persevere with Hugo until he gets his head straight - because, if he can, he’s more useful to us in the run-in than Forster:

————————Lloris
———Romero—Dier—Davies
Doherty—Bentancur—Hojbjerg—Perisic
——Kulusevski—Kane—Richarlison

Badly need a result with City again next up.

Does it even matter when we all know how we will play? Regardless of who plays the tactics will remain the same.

Its sucking the life out of our club.

I'm completely disengaged for the first time in 42 years as a Spurs fan. I dont even know when our games are and frankly don't care.

I've decided to take some time away and actually feel better for it already.

We're not winning this. They're a good team and under the lights on their tight pitch.

Then it's City at home again lol.

I've never felt so pessimistic about Spurs.

Just numb to it I guess.

Personally this is what I’d go for:

Forster

Perisic
Spence

Dier
Romero
Sanchez

Bissouma
Bentancur

Richy
Kulusevski
Kane

For me, Lloris needs to be dropped, as does Sonny and I also would love to see how Bissouma does in the middle with Bentancur.

Neither Davies or Lenglet take their chances when given to them so I would bring Sanchez back into the team as the aggressor against Mitrovic.

I think Spence should be given a game to see how he gets on aswell as again neither Emerson or Doherty have nailed that position down.

I would not drop Lloirs. Forster is not PL standard. Not sure why we bought him to be honest. Son needs a break..Royal has been better of late. I would potentially like to see Spence get a chance but who knows what Conte is seeing in training for him and if he's ready.

On paper Biss and Bentacur should be a strong midfield pairing. Biss just needs confidence which he seems shockingly low on at the moment for some reason.

Foster.. just because we can't just keep watching Hugo cost us goals.
Romero Dier Davies
Deki Sarr Bents Bissouma
Richi Kane Son

Sod the system, play our best players.

Might help us as we won't be as open in the middle of the pitch.
