Ins:
Zakaria
Grealish
Toney
Dybala
Emerson
Matty Cash
Ginter
Anderson
Olise
Sabitzer

Outs:
Aurier
Doherty
Dier
Winks
Alderweireld
And, yes, Kane (as it now looks inevitable).

Poch back, going to his 2.0 version of tactics (343/352/4231withdmdroppingbackintomakeathreeZakaria) with fresh players.

Whoever suggested Vlahovic - that was a good shout. About 6’4, young and a really good player.

I’d hate to see Kane go, but as a club - something big has to happen to reinvigorate it. Selling him and starting a project again might be the only way, sad as it will be.

If Kane goes for £150m then I want to see

Ings
Grealish
Skriniar

Then sell the deadwood and build a team around them. Andersen, Emerson, Sabitzer etc.

Grealish should be an absolute must if Kane leaves. Even if we have to pay £80m he’s 100% worth it.

These 3 players should be covered by Kane’s fee.

Grealish: £70-£80m
Zaha: £35-45m
Ings: £25m

Those 3 are proven in the league and would really elevate us as a team. I believe we would have a really good chance of challenging for silverware next year with a front 4 like this:

Ings
Son—————Grealish————-Zaha

As a club this has got to be a watermark moment and this is why for me a strong Director of Football is the most important. We need consistent and club-wide direction. Kane’s probable sale will offset some of some losses on the players that aren’t going to fit our profile moving forwards, and hopefully we’ll be able to build a clear identity for years to come. It could be wholesale or not this summer - as long there is a direction committed to I am hopeful for our recovery as a club.

Daka
Son Grealish Neto/Raphinha

That's the front 4 I want to see if we lose Kane and get rid of the deadwood this summer. At least it would be exciting.

Add a competent RB (Emerson, Aarons), a top CB (Kounde would be my top pick) and maybe Sabitzer, Anderson, Ings depending on how cheap they can come/how much we've got for other players.

Makes you realise we're going to need to spend £200m+ easily to get this team back to challenging for anything if we lose Kane.

I don’t get the fascination with Ings, he’s 29 soon, very injury prone and looks good for Southampton.
We need to be signing a far better striker than that.

Ings would be relatively cheap and is an outstanding premier league striker and is the only player who is attainable that comes close to Kane output wise.

Ideally we would also bring in a younger high-potential striker from the continent as well such as Patson Daka.

Disagree very strongly, he’s definitely not outstanding.
With proper scouting and money likely to have from the Kane sale, there is plenty of other better options out there.

Very similar profile to Wanyama. Denis is 6'3 and is physically imposing. Mainly a DM, he can also play as a box-2-box CM and he likes to break forward when he's won the ball. Good close control and long legs that allow him to win the ball cleanly off the opposition players. Also, quite press-resistant and trusts his own ability to receive the ball in tight spaces and either play his way out or pass his way out. Assured passer and similar to PEH in the sense that he will try and make life easier for his teammates. It might seem like we're overloading with DMs if we sign Zakaria, when we have PEH and Skipp but Zakaria has way higher ceiling than PEH and we would be silly to pass up a player of his potential. Also, very versatile - can play in a back 3 as a CB and put his height to good use to win aerial duels.

Very good compilation below - I started the clip at most of his defensive actions.

Appreciate the write up, I personally think we desperately need a DM like this to really sort our midfield. I think we need 4 types of midfielder to allow maximum flexibility in our system.

The DM type; which as you say could be Zakaria
The deep lying balling winning midfielder type which is more similar to Hojbjerg, Skipp
The classic number 8 type which should be Ndombele, Lo Celso
The number 10 type who can also move outwide which is Sabitzer, Dele (The dream versio of this would be Grealish)

That'd give us some ridiculous options in the midfield area.

I think it’s because when healthy, his goal scoring output and pressing is brilliant, but because he’s not the healthiest you’d definitely sign another striker too. So for once we’d actually have depth up front for the first time since Defoe left!

His passing is also great. He doesn't have many assists but he likes to send quality through balls.

The only problem is every rival's fanbase are doing the exact same thing as we are.
West Ham/Arsenal/Everton/Leeds/Villa will all be saying "if we hold on to ****** and replace ******* and get in another RB/CB we will make Top 4

Let me stop you there. Winks does not try. If you want to know why fans "become ugly" towards Winks it's due to his cowardice and lack of effort. Let's not confuse lack of ability and effort. Winks has ability but he's not interested in fighting for the team. Don't believe me? Watch this clip of his performance in the CC final.

You can skip to 2:02 to see the Winks breakdown.

And then you can follow that up with this really insightful analysis that @Mannnos put together in the link below

Add to that, what if I told you he's known to be a bit of a complainer/moaner? It wouldn't matter if he was HG or a foreign player, if a player fails to give his all in games but feels comfortable running to press to complain about not getting minutes, I want him gone.

Reserve your sadness for a player that actually deserves it. Winks is a player that was highly rated, who put in some great performances early in his career, who sadly suffered an injury, recovered from said injury to put in some good performances and then has decided to phone it in for the last 2-3 years. Fans will never turn on a player who gives it there on the pitch. We might criticize the limited footballer who tries but we never turn ugly on that type of player. We just really dislike cowardice and Winks just happens to be one of the biggest cowards on the team.

You obviously have some very strong views on Winks evidenced by the research above. Sorry you feel the way you do. Like I said originally itsnot directed at you per se. It's evidenced by the countless posters views. I do hope he is moved on along with Eric Dier as it's sad to see the contempt posters have for these two.

No way are we going to sign a 29 year old injury prone player when we’re trying to rebuild from scratch and revamp our squad.
It’ll definitely be a more longer term striker signing.
