Actually cannot wait for this. Feels like forever since the last proper Spurs game and we’re all buzzing to see how we get on this time. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited going into a season. Complete 180 from the start of last season where I did not care at all!

Something that hadn't occurred to me till I read it elsewhere is that Bissouma might be suffering from the effects of Covid.
It certainly didn't help him being stuck in a hotel. So maybe come Saturday he's a whole lot fitter and ready to start or at least make a big sub's contribution
That gives me a bit more hope, because I know he is a proven Prem player

Yes Super Pav. I was just to the right of the goalposts about 2 rows back at the end where he scored. It pissed with rain most of the game. I bought 3 programmes - 2 for mates back in NZ. My waterproof jacket was not waterproof and the pages all got stuck together.

Can't wait for this one, this will be my wifes first game, well we did Wembley once for a pre season tournament, we played Barcelona but that wasn't a great day if I remember, we were sat right up in the heavens and it was a miserable day for weather making our way to the stadium.

She is really excited to see the stadium, I took my nephew up for the skywalk a few months back and its great seeing peoples reactions to the stadium for the first time.

In the unlikely event that your Digital Pass does not show after updating the app, please check it has not moved into your ‘Expired Pass’ folder. You can check this by scrolling to the bottom of your wallet and selecting ‘Expired Passes’. If your pass is there, you can simply select the pass to unhide it. This will move it into your Google Wallet, ready for the new season.

We'll need our most press resistant CM pairing, Imo. If fit, that's Bentancur with Bissouma or Skipp for me. Hojbjerg isn't the best under that sort of pressure. Not having a go at PEH, but with the extra squad depth this year it will be horses for courses on many occasions. Could well be PEH though with some concerns about Bissouma nd Skipp's fitness.

Skipp is not fit, and Bissouma is still not up to Contes standards following his Covid spell.

I don't agree, they were inconsistent last season but were capable of good, pressing football and in JWP can score easily from set pieces. Conte will ensure we respect them even if some of our fans don't.

Not exactly setting the world alight. If we get behind the team and match the intensity of our own pre season games its a great opportunity to start off with three points.

Long covid is a pretty scary prospect, especially if you are an athlete. We may well have to wait until after xmas before we start to see the player of last season, as he was a long way short in preseason.
It is a good job our fans are so patient, as they were with doherty....
