Just the slide-rule pass to Emerson alone for that 4th goal was enough to justify him being on the pitch late into the second half. Dude's a battler and 100 percent trusted by Conte. That's all you need to know.

Sadly there are sections of our fanbase who will hate players no matter how well they do. I will never understand why. For whatever reason they cannot accept players can get better with time and maturity under quality coaches and in the right systems.

Good save, but kind of routine really. You see academy keepers making similar saves in every training video we put out. Obviously have to be positioned well and be able to get down quickly, things which Lloris is quite good at, but most keepers in the league make that save from that angle too.

IMO, not many doing that . It’s not just the angle , it’s the pace at which shot is taken too. His positioning , cat like reflexes, anticipation & strong hands to push it away all required y to I get it done.

Was great to be at the game. First time at the new stadium and first game since 2008. Fantastic stadium and great result.
No8 pub was packed and a pint was well over £7 but all part of the game day experience.
A couple of questions for the regulars :-
Do they not show VAR reviews on the big screens?
Why dont they count down extra time on the screens just showed 45 +2 and 90 +3?

I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned this but the traffic home on Saturday heading to the North Circular was horrendous. Apparently there was a road closure. Traffic was logjammed and we didn’t move at all in Pretoria Road for about 40 mins. Anyone else have the same problems? (I know trains are an alternative if they work!)
