That’s chocked me up at bit watching those scenes with Richarlison.

No one credits the defence. We have four (!) world class attacking players and one of them is likely to score a goal or two, even when the team play is a mess.

But it only works because the defence doesn’t concede, even when the midfield malfunctions.

Defences win trophies.

Yeah it's a crucial point that's easy to forget.

A big part of why we're stodgy is because we prioritise defensive solidity above all.

It's not always pretty to watch, but you only have to look at our record under Conte to see that it works.

Cliché, but sometimes you just have to win when you're not at your best. We've done that a few times already this season.

Love Richarlison. Love him. That scene was quality.

Sonny for whatever reason isn't at it, and normally I'd be against leaving him for a game at City, but Richarlison and Kulu look sharper at the moment.

Good points well made, but although results have been good I’d be lying if I said I’m enjoying watching us play.

It’s mostly turgid stuff all season so far.

Red card saved us. Pretty appalling performance up until that point.

We are too static in the first half (of most games) and only get going once we go behind or like tonight, time is running out.

Kulusevski and Richarlison have to start the next couple of games with Kane up top. Their movement and passing have been fantastic so far this season.

The red card was the turning point but we started the second half better than the first so coys.

after a piss poor first half there’s no way we could’ve been worse. Based on this display and the six prem games this season I honestly think it will be an achievement to get past the group stages in CL. We look like a side lacking any real ideas, and happy to pass it around at a snails pace hoping for a break. Conte’s Inter side had purpose and played decent football, this Spurs side is mind numbingly boring.

I think the biggest issue we are having is that when ball is getting fired to our forwards on the counter its not sticking and therefore the opposition are gaining confidence.

Defensively we are solid which is why we are winning games.

So happy for Richarlison and excited to see how far he can go this season.

Excellent 3 points but not sure why we were so Lethargic and uninterested for 70 minutes

I don't want to give them an excuse but I'm sure there was an element of keeping something in the tank for the weekend.

Hugely frustrating for most of the game but the win is all that matters in these games. Glad Romero got his shocker out of the way tonight.

Real headache trying to pick a front 3 for Saturday. I actually think we’ll cause City all kinds of problems - it will be the day that Son comes back to life.
