Well it was a grind and not very pretty to watch. We didn’t play all that well but I don’t think we were ever in much danger of losing.

90% of the discussion on our match threads centres on our disjointed attacking and lack of controlled passing in midfield. But we keep winning.

No one credits the defence. We have four (!) world class attacking players and one of them is likely to score a goal or two, even when the team play is a mess.

But it only works because the defence doesn’t concede, even when the midfield malfunctions.
