Not really sure what to expect tonight. They are unbeaten this season and level on points with PSG, who they finished runners up to last season.

My hope is the intensity of the English game and our support makes a big difference tonight.

Yes, they have a good few with Premier League experience but these seem to be the more ageing members of their side.

Hoping for a solid 90 odd minutes performances from our lads. With the depth of our squad, maybe the 5 subs rule will play a part tonight.

Come on you Spurs!

I reckon we'll win. I don't reckon it'll be particularly convincing, or pretty. But I reckon we'll find a way to win.

...which almost certainly means the opposite of what I say will come to pass.

I'm not being complacent - they're clearly a good side - but would a 35 year old Payet and a 33 year old Sanchez get in our side? Absolutely no chance. They're still capable of moments of quality but we should have enough strength, aggression and attacking threat in the side to beat them.

Just hope that we carry on the momentum from the performance against Fulham which was much more like it. Eventually someone up top is going to find the right pair of shooting boots and start banging a few home and we'll be away, and at home after walking out to the CL music might just get someone into that zone.

Absolutely desperate for us to not churn out the absolute plop performances in Europe of the past couple of years as we could all do with the feel good factor of Wednesday nights and watching us do the business in this competition again.

Don't care how we win once we get over the line.

A good performance would be nice but after watching Chelsea last night it just goes to show that 3 points is all that matters in this competition.

The 33 year old Sanchez is also serving a one match ban for this game as well.

In 2020/21, they won 1 and lost 5. So no.

I didnt ask a question so not sure where the 'so no' fits in... but Frank Lebeouf got it wrong I guess hence I said 'apparently' within that.

But thank you for your help in fact checking (y)
