If we play Sanchez (or Tanganga - I am hoping he does not rotate that much!) then we will be seriously tested by the Marseille press.

I hope we play with all the internationally experienced players tonight... Hugo, Romero, Dier, Perisic, Lenglet, Bentancur, Højbjerg, Kane, Son and so on...

With all the disappointing results we have had lately (edit: in Europe) we need all the cool, clever and calm players we can get in against Marseille.

Marseille are very strong and they are the second best team after PSG in France. They also have several players who have played for Premier League-rivals. They will do all they can to make it hard for us.

In my opinion Marseille are the toughest opponent in this group. They have made steady progress the last couple of seasons. Normally it's a chaos club. But not at the moment. Dangerous opponent.

I want to predict a win. But I'm to unsure about Spurs in Europe at the moment. Hopefully Conte will find the right recipe and approach for this game.

Draw 1-1...

What disappointing results did you have in mind? We haven't lost any games yet and, other than Chelsea away, we've only dropped points against West Ham away. Neither of those is generally thought of as a slam-dunk win, so how is a draw disappointing?

In Europe... not in the league ?? ... that's why I want the experienced folks tonight.

Hope we don't surrender the middle to Payet, he is incredible when he is given space to operate. I feel confident with any of our players starting, any win and no injuries please.

No worries. Takes a few hours of contractions before it's worth going to the hospital, if it's your first. And if its not your first then you may as well have the baby at home anyway so you'll not miss a minute.

Julien Laurens thinks that with sanchez suspended, they will sit deep and hope to nick something. We are favourites, but they won't play into our hands tactically. Nothing amazingly insightful, but as fans we have to be patient if things start slowly.

It's a cliche, but the most important thing is the win. Just get off to a good start.

Marseille have a notoriously leaky defence and lost their best defender in the summer with Saliba going back to Arsenal.

They have improved defensively under Igor Tudor who was a pretty decent CB himself back in the day.. but I still feel we'll notch at least a couple tonight.

Son to score his first of the season too.

we can only take play one game at a time so no point worrying about city this weekend. best we go all out to win today & bank those points so I'm expecting a strong, experienced team that can set the tone for our UCL campaign this season - COYS!!!

Funny how so many thought our group was easy...

Marseille have won 5 of their first 6 league games and are level at the top with PSG.

Going to be a tricky match, especially if we have even half an eye on City this weekend.

COYS! Let's do this. ?

They've conceded 3 goals in 6 games so far in the league. Leaky?!

By CL standards it’s favourable but almost impossible for it to be easy.
